Travis is an all star! We have worked with him on several transactions that have gone smoothly and he was able to provide us options that best fit our situation at the time. Travis is super responsive so you never have to worry about waiting around or losing out on a place because of timing. He also takes the time to educate his clients so we feel comfortable with the information and decision we are making.

Lonny Cain was our (my mom and I) lender and everything started out well. Before I chose Lonny as our lender, I mentioned that I will have questions because I am not experienced and asked if there is a conflict of interest because he is friends with the seller. He reassured me that he is detailed, there won't be any conflict of interest because as the client I will be the priority, and that this is a small family business so he would love my business. The first 2 weeks were good. Lonny ended up in the hospital the weekend before the 3rd week, which was never an issue for me, but he made it my issue. We discussed signing the loan documents in the 3rd week if every issue was resolved, specifically, termite, violation on the unit, and litigation. Come Tuesday of the 3rd week, we had a call because I mentioned I wasn't comfortable signing the documents when there were issues I was waiting to hear back on. In this call, he lashed out at me saying that he should be in the hospital but instead here working on my loan, he called me unreasonable and uncooperative because I wouldn't agree to sign the loan documents (again with the issues still lingering). I tried to explain why I am uncomfortable signing the documents, he told me that I am not allowed to talk because he is speaking and I need to listen. He told me that we just need to sign the documents and will deal with any issues later. l had to explain to him that his health is way more important than signing any documents, he did not need to put blame on me for why he wasn't in the hospital. He did a 180 and apologize for being unprofessional and that he really likes working with me. I then reiterated I am not comfortable signing the loan documents (we were still early, beginning of the 3rd week), he again got mad at me. I called my agent and told her about this interaction and she offered to call Lonny to discuss and understand why he is rushing to sign the documents. Whether she believed me or not when I told her, she believed me after we had a 3-way call with Lonny. The reason for the 3-way call is because what I had told her is the complete opposite of what Lonny had told her. The 3-way call with Lonny lasted 6 minutes. I mentioned again how I was not comfortable signing the documents on Wednesday and felt rushed. There is a $250 charge to regenerate the loan documents because I "confirmed" the day and now want to change it. My agent stepped in and said that there shouldn't be a reason for the $250 charge when I have said multiple times, "All of these issues need to be resolved or have a solution before signing". Lonny then came at her, telling her that she is not allowed to speak and interrupt him while he's speaking. He added "I am not confrontational and won't stay on the phone arguing with two women", and then proceeded to hang up on us. The way he had talked to us women (my agent and I) clearly shows his misogynistic views on women. When we met Lonny to sign the loan documents, he told me I should reserve all my questions for him instead of asking the notary and just sign the documents. I told him I don't believe in signing anything without understanding what I'm signing. A question came up, we asked Lonny, and his response was that he doesn't know and we should just sign it. Lonny has been in this field for years, yet he could not dedicate less than 5 minutes to look at the numbers and help provide an explanation for the $2k difference, the notary looked at it for a min or two and was able to point out where the difference comes from. I have talked to Patrick Cain (the owner and I believe Lonny's brother) about this entire experience. Patrick apologized for Lonny and mentioned that Lonny should have passed my loan off to someone else especially since he has medical problems (Lonny told me he was the only person that could answer my questions) and that Lonny's work has not been up to his standard for awhile now. Lonny does not have the professional magnitude to separate personal and professional obligations. Unfortunately, I do not recommend Morgan Home Funding.

Travis has helped me with purchasing and refinance multiple times and he is amazing to work with. His rate is very competitor and he is very responsive to any questions I have. He also spends the time to explain to me anytime I have any questions.

Lonny genuinely cared about securing us the best rate for our mortgage. We were first-time home buyers navigating the tricky CA real estate market, and knew little about the buying process. He secured us a low rate on a VA loan very efficiently, yet took time to explain every step of the process thoroughly to us. When it was time to refinance, he worked tirelessly to secure us an even lower rate and again, walked us through every step. He is truly an expert on VA loans and because of his knowledge, we had no hiccups during the process. We could not have secured our dream home without his help.

I have been doing business with Travis and Morgan Home Funding for over 20 years. Travis arranges Traditional Mortgage Loans and will send me some of his clients that need Hard Money and currently do not fit into Traditional Lending. We just closed two Hard Money Purchase Transactions this week. I just want to say how completely thorough his files are!! He makes sure every aspect of the mortgage process goes exactly how he explained it to his customer. If you are looking for a low rate Traditional Bank Loan, Call Travis Gillespie at Morgan Home Funding!!

I have worked with Morgan home funding for my home purchase and now I'm also doing my home refinancing with them. I have had a great experience and highly recommend them. I haven't worked with all of the staff there, but have mainly worked with Mr. Travis Gillespie. One of my friends introduced Travis to me and highly recommended him. He asked us to go to his office and gave me all of the information I needed and explained all of the necessary details and answered my questions with patience. He honestly explained to us all of the costs, fees, etc. upfront to avoid any surprises for us when we get close to closing. Travis is very responsible and responsive. He is also very easy to work with and also trustworthy. This helped me feel confident and comfortable when working with him. He did his best to finish the closing process as soon as possible for us and we were able to close as quickly as possible. I have recommended him to a few of my friends and relatives, and they share the same opinion with me. As I mentioned, for my refinance I went back to them again. I highly recommend Travis and Morgan Home Funding.

Such a great experience! I have referred a number of clients to Travis Gillespie and the team at Morgan Home Funding, all of whom have been very happy with the experience and the loan they received. I personally used them to refinance my house, the transaction was smooth, easy and the team delivered on every deadline and set the bar for all others to follow! I won't use anyone else and will continue to refer my clients, every time!

Morgan Home Loan Corporation was excellent. Travis clearly explained, helpful, and professional had helped us purchased two houses, and a cash out case with low interest rate in the market. I recommended Travis to everyone who need to purchase house, refinance, and cash out. Travis rating was above five stars.

I have worked with Travis and Morgan Home Funding for 20+ years. I trust him completely. I love the excellent customer service he provides. He takes extra time with first time buyers to explain the loan process in detail. Travis always finds the right loan/rate for his buyers. I trust him with my clients and use him for my personal purchases. I've been in real estate for 30+ years and have worked with many lenders. Travis is the best!

Morgan Home Loan Funding was very quick with their work, and yet very articulate. Travis was an exceptional loan officer that explained every detail for every step. I've done three projects with him that were finished right on time. I'm very satisfied with his work. Five stars all the way.
