    Today my banking experience with Stacy was out of this world. Her colleague Raymond’s friendly engagement was an extra cherry on top! What’s even more amazing is that I always experience 5-star customer service when I go to this bank. Michael Nichols did a phenomenal job with setting up my business account. And my drive-thru teller experiences have all been great as well. I wanted to take a few minutes to ring the bell for the excellent care and professionalism that I always receive when I go to the New Tampa MIDFLORIDA branch!!!! Thank you all for your commitment to high quality customer service. It really makes the difference.

    The service at this branch is always exceptional. Jeremiah Rivera, the branch manager, is second to none in professionalism and great client service. Jeremiah is very patient and genuinely demonstrates that he cares about me as a client. While I sat with Jeremiah, another associate, Christian took the time to offer me a bottle of water. Even though water is such a basic thing, it was really the gesture and thoughtfulness that really made the difference to me. I have never had this experience at any other branch in the State of Florida. Jeremiah and his team are simply the best! Thank you for your great client service. I feel valued every time I have to bank with Jeremiah.

    I have been banking with Midflorida since I opened my very first checking account with them at 16. I'm now almost 26 and I have never had an unpleasant experience at any of their branches. The only fees I've ever had to pay were for accidental overdraft of my account (my fault, not theirs). Tellers are always friendly and they always complete my transactions quickly and correctly. I have bank accounts at two other banks in the area, but neither compare to Midflorida Credit Union. Can't say enough about how stellar they are as an institution. Keep up the awesome work!

    Jeremiah Rivera was absolutely amazing. He was super helpful and encouraging to my girlfriend while she was applying for a credit card. He also took the time to explain everything we didn’t know in detail and gave us some great tips. Very friendly and nice guy.

    I love this branch and the location is near my job so it’s very convenient. I moved from Lakeland 2 yrs ago and had a favorite branch there but this one is excellent. The customer service is outstanding. They are always helpful and professional. Very grateful for this bank. Thank you!

    This is in regards to the mortgage department. My older brother has been going through the home buying process with LaToya and Maria. They have been giving him hell. They gave 2 closing dates in the contract and did not stick to either of those dates because they kept coming up with new requirements each time even though he had everything turned in. Very poor communication and now we are having to wait in a hotel because these two can't get their acts together. This is coming at a price we cannot afford with all of these hotel stays and Mid Florida should be held responsible for this. Chances are someone will come on here and say "they will look into this" even though they won't. Very disappointed and this is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS CREDIT UNION TO OTHERS!!!

    Had an issue where my card was seemingly compromised. Went to the branch to clear it up. Had a little fun with Jesse who was new. Nice young man and friendly. Overall customer service was fast, efficient, and very friendly. Nice job!

    I love this branch! I own a local resale clothing store down the road. We pay cash for clothes. Our business model requires me to pull large amounts of cash each week. My business loan and operating account are actually with a different credit union, but I use the shared-partner banking that several of the greater Tampa credit unions participate in. The tellers at this location ALL know me by my first name and greet me warmly when I walk in. I fully recognize what a pain in the rear I am with my large requests each week, but they never seem to find it an inconvenience. When the lobbies at banks were shut down for COVID, I had to start banking at my normal bank again. I truly miss banking here and can’t wait for things to get back to normal. They really represent what a credit union is supposed to be - they know their members and treat us like they would treat a friend. On a different note, my husband is a commercial lending attorney in Tampa and has relationships with a lot of banks here as part of his day-to-day. He hasn’t ever needed to visit this particular location (because I run the business), but based on what I’ve told him and his experience, he agrees that this branch is a hidden gem!

    This is in regards to the Mortgage department Only. Please do not use them especially if going through an FHA loan...worst experience of my life... dealt with Jay and Latoya...Jay was the only positive experience. He had great customer service... otherwise it was a complete nightmare... incredibly disorganized, communication was poor, professionalism was lacking. We sent documents and continuously were told we didn’t provide it all the way up to the end (I kept records of everything!!!) Latoya didn’t know the guidelines for FHA (since they don’t deal directly with them). I’ve tried to get the contact information for the manager over the mortgage department at this branch and no response from anyone that works for the Mortgage department. I mean just the lack of unprofessionalism was astounding... this was a disaster to say the least especially when I found out the conversation Latoya had with the sellers agent where I found out she lied to the agent about why we were denied saying we didn’t pay our taxes...full blown lie...we amended them and FHA has a guideline that they need to be amended 60 days prior to the application...the guideline is fine and understandable we could’ve switch the loan from one person to the other (since we were both on the loan and file separately) to mend this.... unfortunately MidFlorida does not have that option like most lenders do... and Latoya informed us of this guideline the day of closing!!!! We would have to start the application process all over again if we wanted to take one person off and put it under the other, even though they had all the info needed... no way I was getting involved with them again...we ended up switching to preferred lenders and got approved without any issues and finally got our home....such a horrible horrible experience. I would give zero starts if I was able to...

    Very convenient branch hours. Friendly helpful teller staff. My only complaint was with the older bank officer who failed to advise me that I qualified for a higher interest rate savings account when I made a deposit.
