Been a customer for many years. Lately i’ve become very unhappy with them. Can’t deposit larger checks via ATM unless tellers are on duty. Can’t deposit large checks via mobile app. No tellers in banks. Paying off my HELOC so i can close all my accounts in the next couple weeks. Very sad to see a once good bank going down the crapper :( UPDATE: Went in to a branch this past weekend to close one of my lesser used accounts. Walked into the lobby at 10:30 on a Saturday and no one seemed to be on duty even though the lobby was open. Here's a good one. A paycheck I deposited that was pretty large had its funds held for a couple days which is understandable. They released the funds in 3 stages and sent me a letter explaining what they were doing. They have implemented wiz-bang video conferencing ATM's and online banking...but they are sending out letters for a check deposit that they are holding for 5 business days? Pro Tip: Save the stamp and email or text me!

For some reason the drive through has been converted from 5 lanes down to 2, in my case 1. Waited 17 minutes with with 4 people in front of me just to not be even able to use their new terrible machines to deposit a check cause they do not supply you with any form of ledger to endorse said check. You can’t even see what is on the screen it’s so disgusting and glare filled. Still no in person service without an appointment (which is justified) but when it’s only drive through it should be at least efficient and effective. You’re stuck waiting one person at a time just to do any banking which is beyond ridiculous.

I've been a member of Workers Credit Union for many years. The customer service has gone down hill starting with the lack of tellers and a call center that can't provide information.

Trash customer service. The amount of times I've called and had them hang up on me and not call back is unacceptable. And you will constantly need to call to remove holds on your card because it doesn't like to support transactions.

I was in today to get $100 bills for Xmas and was dismayed and very disturbed by the lack of tellers. I was finally assisted by someone in an office who took me thru an annoying amount of steps on a machine to get the money out of my two accounts, which then had to be converted to the bills I had requested. Which was also an issue as one of the bank’s bills was not accepted by its own bank. Many minutes later I left wishing an actual teller had been there to just do the transactions. Ridiculous. People matter, and work better than machines.

Workers, it’s time for some major hiring. I’ve had an account here since I was a little kid. They used to have excellent customer service but they’re obviously wayyy understaffed these days and the quality of their services is really suffering. It’s nearly impossible to even get a call through, and when I finally did speak to a human she wasn’t an “account specialist” and couldn’t actually solve my problem, nor could she transfer me to someone who could. I expect that treatment from big banks, not a small local credit union.

It’s been a struggle to get a live agent, their services use to be be 💯 percent on point .. this has been the worst in all my years dealing with them .. I’m ready to move my loans and account for under WCU .. I will also ensure that the BBB gets a review .. if you truly want business then put your customers first.

If I could give 0 stars I would. By far the worst experience I have ever had in banking. The app and website are both archaic trash, its a $10 fee to pay my camper loan with my debit card and I have to reset my password EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to login into the dreadful website just so they'll take my money. Honestly considering paying off the loan or refinancing it just so I'll never have to deal with this pile of trash institution again.

Do your homework before considering this credit union for your mortgage needs. They are very unprofessional, often leaving you to repeatedly call them to move the process along. You get conflicting information depending on the person you speak with and they do not follow a standard of practice for underwriting loans. Not to mention they charged us $1300 for an appraisal fee. I have since called other banks in the area and they are charging less than $500.
