I was very specific about how much money o needed from the equity from the house to fix the new one and do home improvements. 2 months later and several conversations, we get to the closing table only to find out we were getting 20k less than expected. It isn’t that hard! Money goes down and money comes back. A couple of grand I could have understood due to fees and such but a 20k difference is unacceptable and I now have to get another loan to do these fixings and improvements.
