UW Credit Union Wright St, Madison

Went on trip to Arizona, had to inform them I would be in Arizona to use my debit card. Stopped for gas in Colorado and card would not work. Apparently, you have to tell them every stop you will make. As a side note your money is protected over $50 for unauthorized use, so it is to protect the credit union, not you. Have run into problems with some of their other "services" as well. Holds on checks from the government, ridiculous! This is a big credit union, but they are run very poorly. They have a lot policies that are counter to good member service. It is just a matter of time until one or more of them catches you. If you can find another CU near you, use it. I can not recommend UW Credit Union.

Simply put, they are what a credit union should be. Five stars is only out of reach for this branch because their hours and days are limited by MATC's, being located inside that building.

I honestly wish I could leave this bank a zero... I lost my job due to covid for a couple months and then got back to work and called numerous times to work with the bank to pay the past due amount on my car loan they then proceeded to tell me that my car was going to be repossessed in 5 days and their was nothing I could do to stop it but pay the full past due amount.... they where aware of my situation caused by the NATIONAL pandemic and refused to work with me nor give me an extra month to pay them... I highly recommend you go somewhere else for a loan cuz this bank simply does not care about people being I just watched my car get hauled away by some stranger

Staff is Wonderful Location is good Can us other cards at the ATM with no fee.

Always great service, have been a member for 20 years.
