ATM does not allow you to deposit cash. Furthermore this ATM may or may not EAT YOUR CASH. Last time I tried to deposit money into this ATM I lost $50. NFCU explained to me that UFCU could look into it. When I spoke with United Federal credit Union they told me that there is nothing that they can do about it. But don’t take my word for it try yourself and see what happens. You have been warned.

Incredible local credit union. I use them for my car and home loans as they have very competitive rates. I send all of my customers their way as well as I am in car sales. Worked with Karen on a re-fi early COVID, we ran into some hiccups and long wait times. But I just blamed it on the 'Rona and thought it was just learning a new online system/process. In February, we began talking to Karen about our new construction loan we needed for May. For months with Karen (should have known from the name), we supplied documents and moved through the process. I should have recocognized red flags when she started requesting documents we had previously sent her and she also struggled with basic math (percentages) when I wanted information about buying down rates. Needless to say, the promised May closing was pushed and estimated mid June, all while adding on thousands of dollars in fees (over 2500) for a "rate lock" that were never previously mentioned and only needed because THEY dragged out the process! Very shady! Not transparent business practices. Switched to state employees last minute, saving us over 10k AND closing in less than a month!!!!

Upon moving to Asheville a few years back we wanted a "relationship" with our financial institution. Oddly enough being from Michigan, I feel that connection to my home state. Everyone at UFCU Asheville is professional and excels at what they do. Highly recommend!

First off, this Credit Union is great! They gave me my First ever car loan for my beautiful BMW. Whenever stuff came up with getting my car repaired and I needed a skip a payment they came through and gave me as many skip a payments as I needed. I Love them for that, it's one of the reasons i havent been stranded since I bought the car. The branch managers here are soo nice and the front tellers Cindy and Anne too. They are so nice it'll knock your socks off! Lol. I'm hoping to cosign my mom her dream car in the future with this credit union. I want to give them my business since they've helped me out so much before i trust that they will again. And also I agree with Bruce! Amy is great! I've known Amy for a long time before she started working here. Sometimes they even have warm cookies out for the members!😁

I bought a car in February with my husband. His name only is on the note. In the state of North Carolina a married couple has what's called community property. I have called and talked to the rudest people ever. Snooty. I as his wife pay the bills ufcu would not give me the exact amount I needed to pay. So I paid $3 less. Then my husband has gotten 2 delinquent. Notices over three dollars. I have been trying to pay my second car payment to no avail. No problem taking my $1600 down. If someone has all my information or my husbands information please by all means let them pay the bill. Geez. So now I guess I am gonna have to drive from charlotte to Asheville so I can talk to someone in person. Because I assure you will not be belittled and spoken to as if I am trash by some grouchy lady that hates her job. I am just trying to pay my damn car payment.

I've dealt with them some in the past and I enjoyed my experience the teller Cindy has always been great to deal with I love her southern charm.

A great experience overall, they financed an auto loan for me, and everything went smooth from the approval, all the way to payoff. They also send offers in the mail for loans, auto insurance and other services.

Phenomenal bankers- from personal residence financing, rental house financing, personal and business banking- I use UFCU for all four areas, and find them consistently friendly, on the ball and great to work with.
