Truist Williamson Rd, Roanoke

The people inside the banks are very friendly but I have strong misgiving about Truist as a whole hence the 2 stars. The staff gets 4 stars the banks as a whole gets -2. They purchased Sun Trust and I haven't been able to send a bank transfer since Feb 18 and it is currently March 10. I made a trip in person last week and they still weren't able to help me. The staff is friendly and cut me a check to make the transfer but online transfer is really a must for business checking for me. Things may change but as of now I would have to recommend not using Truist for business banking. update April 25. Just talked to Truist. They do not have functionality for business accounts to be able to do bank transfers. WOW! So crazy. So frustrating.

Lost my drivers license and had trouble cashing my checks which my company has an account. Went to DMV and they gave me a soft copy of drivers license to use til my new one gets here. SunTrust would not accept it said they had no idea it was me. Even tho Ive cashed over 100 checks there and know all the tellers. And to top it off knowing that I actually do my company's payroll. No personal service and always waiting for them to open. Their hours are until 5 and no Saturdays. I'll bank somewhere else for now on.

Worst bank Ive ever had the displeasure of banking with. I had NBC bank for ten years without one overdraft charge, as soon as Thugtrust bank took over i recieved atleast 7 overdraft charges in the first couple months after they took over. The girl i dealt with at the local branch turned into a evil you -know- what after the buyout and basically told me there was nothing she could do about her new overlords horrible business ethics. DO NOT BANK WITH SUNTRUST THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LAUGH ABOUT IT IN YOUR FACE!

I've banked with SunTrust for many years including investment transactions. Never a problem. Good and friendly folks to deal with.

They hardly ever answer the phone

Never had any problems, the staff is always there to help.
