This branch is closed. I pulled it up on google before going and it said they were open and they company confirmed it 6 days ago. Apparently they close permanently over a month ago

This bank has closed this location before 1 pm last week and this week said they would open at 12:30 but changed it to 1:30 after I waited -0 minutes for 12:30. As a business operator who needs to get a change order for the weekend, this is very inconvenient as there isn’t another location within walking distance. I’ll be asking my company to consider switching

Absolutely atrocious customer service. Any time I have an issue they made me feel like it was an inconvenience to them! When I tried to close my account they couldn’t even provide a closeout confirmation. Discovered two weeks later the account was still open! Asked how/why this happened and was told “I don’t know what to tell you” I would never recommend this bank to anyone. Switching to Charles Schwab and couldn’t be more excited!

BB&T as an institution is very behind the times with their practices and I did not like my experiences at all.. I gave them a fair chance though! I opened my account on June 24th and had to call them twice looking for my bank card and finally they said they would send me another one - I didn't get one until July 31. That is insane. They also "don't do withdrawals through the window" so since I didn't have a bank card I would have to go into the bank to withdraw money. I called two different locations trying to find someone to tell me why they declined a $17 PayPal purchase and no one ever returned my phone call. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I went in to the Tryon location and a banker was super rude to me. Over it!

I have been with BB&T for 16 1/2 years. I have watched them grow over the years. They are a Wonderful bank with the nicest people. I have had mortgages, home equity loans and have all my banking accounts with them. Awesome Bank!!!!

This institution is a hot bed of crooks. The will have you spending for small purchases from your available balance but the then when you make a large purchase that will most likely result in overdraft they will hold all previous small transactions although they were made earlier than the large one ,still charge you an overdraft fe3 for the large one but 5hen they clear all the small ones charging you an overdraft fee for each additional transaction .they'll cook up a story about how you never were spending your available balance ant that the fault was yours. I'm currently having them investigated for fraud pending a possible lawsuit. DON'T MESS WITH THESE FOLK THEY WILL ROB YOU

Have been a customer for 30 years, but ending that now. Just deposited a large check that I really needed; it has cleared the account it came from, and they will not release the funds to me. This is going to put me in a major bind, and it is my money! They told me the Fort Mill, SC branch could lift it, but they will not. Taking all 5 of my accounts elsewhere!

If you like banking in the 19th century then have at it. This institution is behind in both technology and customer service. Their interest rates are high, generally speaking, and their overall performance is sub par. Use as a last resort I don't see them competing in the 21st century for too much longer.

I've been with BB&T for over 30 years and I'm out of there. People who work there in their branches are fine, but the corporate employees are just impossible when confronted with a problem..
