I’m an office assistant so I have to stop by different banks weekly and I usually go through the drive thru and I don’t think I’ve ever been spoken to. The whole transaction no one even says “hi” or “thank you” it feels so strange. I know things get busy but you can’t even acknowledge your customers? I have a much better experience at the other banks I go to. I keep going to this TD bank branch cause it’s literally less than 5 mins from our office.

1. If you are going to deny someone a new card please be able to ACCURATELY explain why instead of relying on another bank to call you to automatically tell your staff to deny the customer. I was only able to receive an accurate answer from Mike at the TD bank in Silver Spring. Communication and training your employees properly goes a long way. 2. If you are going to make a “mistake” and withdraw over $500 from the wrong persons account you should be able to have an explanation and have the employee that made the mistake call and apologize for their mistake personally. That is not too much to ask for. I think anyone can understand that if someone needed that money right away they wouldn’t have access to it in a case of an emergency. We got lucky because we called corporate before your branch had a chance to close for the day. Who knows if the “ mistake” would have been fixed without us calling. I am very disappointed in the way this branch handled the situation. There is no point in being so defensive and dismissive. Apologizing and showing some genuine appreciation for your customers goes a long way. I hope you all can learn from these mistakes and be able to explain processes more accurately to your customers.

Super horrible. And all she could say was, oh I'm sorry. Careless worker, with the Indian manager telling me, oh I forgot the notary stamp at home, this after I already went to 6 different banks, and this location confirmed over the phone that I can come for the notary!

Only this place of all the banks I went that didn’t recognize U.S PASSPORT CARD as a form of Primary ID telling me that after wasting my time for almost an hour. She asked of Driver’s license I’ve one that’s expired and the temporary paper one that I got be I get the photo ID one. But yet all that are not form of ID disgusting my if I’m not black or something.

I called this Branch ahead of time at 3:25 to see if I can open a business bank account. They told me to come in so I arrived at 3:37 they close at 4 pm but told me I couldn’t that they are closed. Someone just left out and I told them this is a bad impression for me to come and start new business with you all. They assisted we are close and you can open it thru are drive there we are still open there. I told myself no I’m done this is already horrible service, but still went through drive threw. After getting around at 4:01 they tell me you have to come back tomorrow at 3pm. I asked why didn’t you tell me that instead of “you can open it in drive threw” no reply for a rhetorical question. Horrible service!. I understand we are all going through hard times during this crisis but you are suppose to make it less difficult for clients not a headache I will take my business else where and never returning to TD bank again.

I usually go to the branch in New Carrollton, I was in the area so I stopped by this branch to cash a check. Never again! I was in the drive thru line for almost 30 minutes, I actually had to call the bank from the drive thru line to see what was going on, only to be rudely told that they had customers inside and will get to us soon. I have never spent more than 5 minutes at the New Carrollton branch.

Momoudo Njal is a professional. He and his colleague were very helpful to the couple next to me who seemed to be asking questions that they should be able to answer themselves about their own money for real for real. I came late around 6:45pm on a Friday when they close 7. I expected eye rolls and to be rushed but he was patient and even offered their great credit card promotion which i will consider in the near future i have beenw TD Bank since I was in college many years ago back when they were commerce Bank. This td bank is excellent and i will continue to park most of my money here.

Mr. Brame - the Manager really tries to maintain the convenience selling point. If it were not for him and the hours of operating, I'd pass. Our bank card works sometimes or not. The wait to see someone is a little too long. And on the bizz side the coding of the account usually at corporate level takes forever to reach banl level for non-profits. There is a good fundraiser program, but retaining customers we recommend, is a challenge because of difficulties shared about customer service. Again, Mr. Brame gets kudos for really giving this Branch a good rep.
