Horrible customer service and the ATM is always “Out of Service” but hey, that’s what we get for being loyal customers

Jammie is so phenomenal and always provide such excellent customer service. She have such a beautiful personality and she doesn’t see color. She will help anyone with their financial goals and needs. She is truly an amazing person and I’m thankful that we connected. She is in high demand, so you may have to be patient, however she’s is definitely worth the wait. I sent her some of my family and she taken excellent care of them.

Great experience and service as always. Special thanks to Mr. Matt Anderson, an employee at this branch whos was specially helpful to me. Very sorry to hear all the fuss over a collectable figure which, anyone who knows the show "The Walking Dead" or their comics will tell you is not racist at all. So sad that people jump to judgement before taking the time to understand what they are talking about.

When I saw this story about Mr. Anderson I couldn't believe my eyes because I experienced something troubling in January of this year. I was in the branch and overhead a black woman verbally berating him over some incorrect charge on her account. While this woman was "out of hand", what happened next was equally troubling. Mr. Anderson came out of his office and when he saw that I was next (another black woman) he looked visibly troubled. He rolled his eyes and said towards the receptionist "God, not another one." He then proceeded to answer my questions about an auto loan in the rudest and most dismissive way. I am not surprised Mr. Anderson had this racist figurine on his desk. I sensed a strong dislike and uncomfortableness from him when I saw him and this figurine seems like some sort of passive aggressive revenge against black members. I have used SECU faithfully for years, but I cannot continue to use their services if Mr. Anderson continues to work there. Racism is real in this country and Mr. Anderson has demonstrated deep-seated racism at worst and utter, inexcusable ignorance by displaying a racially offensive figurine on his desk at best. SECU should take immediate action to remedy this wrong. If not, I would be more than happy to make sure the NCNAACP is fully aware of this racist figurine situation as well as my encounter in January.

It is very disappointing that SECU would respond to this woman’s clear attention seeking by firing Matt Anderson. Without a doubt SECU should have supported their employee, especially when her accusations were very easily proven false. He never shared her name, but had every right to since she had already shared his name publicly. We are no longer comfortable banking with SECU. If they would unfairly terminate an employee after one ridiculous and unnecessary incident they are clearly not the place to trust with our money. We support Matt Anderson 100%.

Money came up missing from my shared account which I never use I spoke with Mary who was very rude and disrespectful she told me if I did not like the service I was receiving I did not have to be a member of the credit union and it is my prerogative if I left that’s bad for business telling customers that they don’t have to bank with you if they don’t like their money being missing. So unprofessional in my opinion what happened to the customer service these days I’m definitely closing my account on after I get paid on Friday i refused to be talked to like that

Support for Matt Anderson! Just because someone is unaware of the reference or context of something someone else is doing or has does not not make it wrong. The customer here blasting him should have done her research first before making a big deal about it. And for those claiming that he released any information, all he did was make a post about the situation, didnt name anyone. But the lady herself put her name out there writing the inappropriate review blasting him and likely putting his job in jeopardy over something she didn't understand.

Matt Anderson an employee of SECU on Louisburg rd should be fired from his job for having a black doll with a noose around its neck and its hands tied behind its back. This doll is totally inappropriate, extremely offensive and just plain racist. Until this individual is fired and the appropriate training is given to the employees at this SECU bank I will not bank at this SECU and I don’t recommend that anyone else does either. I will also be reporting this incident to the appropriate officials in SECU. Ms. Stacey Smith of Raleigh, NC posted a Facebook picture yesterday with a picture of the doll and actually confronted Mr. Anderson who stated that he collected these dolls. When she stated that she was offended he asked her “in what way?”. Really?!? In what way. Matt Anderson also goes on to joke about the doll and Ms. Smith on Facebook saying he hopes she posts the picture to social media. She did post it!I saw it! I’m offended!!! The doll is a clearly depicting a black person with a noose around its neck. This is unacceptable and as a black women who banks at SECU I expect for this individual to be fired immediately for his inappropriate behavior which doesn’t represent what SECU stands for...at least I hope not!

Ryan Draper and his co worker were delighted to handle my transaction. I constantly heard his co worker saying “i can do that,” which was the EXACT OPPOSITE of the triangle town center branch. The customer service lady even told me bye. Nothing was extraordinary other than this branch being a completely different experience than one that is 2 miles away
