I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the services that Springtree Group provided during the recent sell of my P&C book of business. Prior to connecting with Ammie, I had considered the possibility of selling my small book of business for almost a year. The problem was that I didn’t know where to start or what actions to take. Ammie was VERY professional and responsive to my questions (even though some were probably silly). Springtree Group made the entire process A LOT easier than I could have ever imagined. If you are considering selling your agency or book of business, I would HIGHLY recommend working with Springtree Group.

Our agency has been working with Springtree Group for several years now as a seller. Both Sam and Ammie have always provided us with world class customer service along with solid guidance throughout the acquisition process. With more than six completed transactions to date, they have always come through for us both on time and as promised. I would highly recommend Springtree Group to anyone wanting to buy or sell an insurance agency. Sam and Ammie have earned our recommendation by consistently proving their commitment to not only ‘just getting the job done’, but also finding a way to go above and beyond for their clients.

I cannot relate to the previous poster in any way except for the fact that Sam is professional. I personally have closed 2 transactions with Sam and Ammie at Spring Tree Group. I am also in the process of refinancing my agency through them. They have been responsive, informative, and very helpful getting deals done. I had initially had issues with SBA and how long they were taking and Sam helped me get set up with Agilecap to get the deal done. I feel bad that you had a bad experience but maybe there were other circumstances. I use Springtree almost exclusively when possible.

I have now had a handful of experiences with this company and feel the need to leave a review relating as to how unprofessional Springtree Group is. If I were a seller, I would look elsewhere for a M&A firm to represent my Agency for sale. I initially was introduced to Sam Patterson via an Agency For Sale that I found listed on another website and had asked for more information related to the Agency. I was contact via Sam, spoke briefly and he forwarded a Non-Disclosure Agreement along with the Springtree Group legal contract. From there after all was signed, I proceeded to get passed to Aimee Bell who provided Agency information & a call was set with the Seller. During the call, I discovered some discrepancies in financials. I was told I would receive a follow-up from Aimee to discuss how the call went. That call never came. I left her a message and never heard back. The seller contacted me a couple weeks later & at that point I informed them of my hesitation due to the numbers as well as no follow up from Springtree. Some months later, I responded to another Agency For Sale. I was a bit worried when I, once again, received a response from the Springtree Group via Sam as representing the Agency. I once again proceeded with getting the Agency info, I asked to set up a call with the Seller and was then asked if I would need financing. I stated "No" as I had already established financing elsewhere. It was then that I was "shut out" and never could get a call established with the Agency principle, even after leaving multiple messages with Sam and Aimee. I feel like Springtree Group prefers to make money on BOTH the sale of the Agency as well as financing the Buyer. I personally wouldn't trust my Agency sale to this company as I feel they are dishonest. Rather than bring the Seller multiple offers which would result in a higher purchase price, I felt like they were looking at which buyer might bring the Springtree Group the most money. It definitely feels like there is a conflict of interest with Springtree Group. Sellers should take note of the negative reviews before letting this company represent your Agency.

I reached out to this company to expand my national agency by purchasing another agency in Florida. I was uncomfortable about the lack of transparency regarding the costs and fees this brokerage was planning to charge and about the fact that Sam was asking me to pay about 4 times the net gross sales figures so I had my CPA look it over. My CPA came back advising me not to move forward because the way the deal was structured was a violation of SBA lending guidelines and because it would take far to long to recover the acquisition costs. Once I declined to move forward on these grounds Sam became irate and wrote me a nasty email saying Springtree Group was no longer interested in doing business with me. I never got a clear answer on the fees Sam was planning to charge me but the complete lack of professionalism he showed at my resistance to purchase made it clear I was making the right move by declining to move forward.

Sam, Ammie, and team are a delight to deal with! We have done two purchases and one sale with them over our relationship and they have all been smooth with great communication. I highly recommend them if you are looking to sell or acquire a firm.

I acquired an agency out of state in April of 2020 with the help of Springtree. They did a great job getting the deal to move along when either party needed to get documents or other items accomplished. Acquisitions are a team effort by the buyer, seller and broker. Springtree is fair to both parties and has both of their best interests in mind. Plan on using them again as soon as they find my next acquisition target for me.

Amy Bell is the person to get the job done! She met all my expectations with returned calls, getting the correct forms and answering questions in a timely manner. I plan to use her again when I am ready for the next transaction. Call her you wont regret it........ Rod Dunlap

I reached out to this company to help me purchase an insurance agency in Florida. At first the owner Sam talked to me, and they seemed very professional. I was very excited by the listing of several companies that they had for sale in Florida, and thought that for sure they could help me. I signed a legal document, then they requested a $500 retainer from me. I felt like this was more then fair at the time, since they had so many listings and Sam seemed so professional...... Once my check cleared I never heard his voice again. He subcontracted me to a person named Amy, she was impossible to get on the phone. She would leave emails and voicemails unattended for over a week. I inquired about four of the "agencies for sale" and she never gave me a single detail about any of them, which leads me to believe that they were not actually for sale, or even real listings. To be fair, after a lot of effort and a handful of emails, I did get my $500 back after about a month of requesting a refund, but I would stay away from this company. They do not act honestly, and do not communicate well at all!

I am thoroughly satisfied with the services provided by the Springtree Group, LLC, which found a buyer for one of my businesses and assisted with the transaction, leading to the successful closing of the transaction.
