Customer service has really gotten terrible since PNC's disastrous takeover of BBVA. I waited while two tellers helped the same two customers for 15 mins while the bankers and branch manager twiddled their thumbs. I ended up leaving without being helped. Time to switch banks.

PNC is the worst bank to ever exist. Absolutely worthless. There has been nothing but problems since they took over and I’m not even a customer that needs much. Simply checking my account has become a hassle and don’t get me started on the customer service.

PNC bought out BBVA Bank in 2021, and I really do miss them. The one good thing about this branch is that they're open on Saturday's. Other than that_______.

Worst banking experience in life. The transition from BBVA was horrible. Since the customer service is horrible. The switch was the first of October; I just got my banking cards last week of November and they have deactivated my accounts with direct deposits going into them. What a mess! Find an established for years bank.

Had paid off a HELOC account and closed the account a couple of months ago. The bank is still carrying a small balance and can not tell me why? Now they have drafted out of my checking account to pay a minimum amount due on the closed account? I've got their receipt showing account closed and payoff amount but no answers as to why the new balance. When i go there in person it seems they want to help but can't figure out how? ( maybe why there is a 1.6 rating for the branch). I went to another branch 2 weeks ago to start over and the rep tried to help, called me back to say they were investigating, and now did not return my call from 2 days ago? All I get are excuses.....covid, PNC transition, short handed, etc. After 30 years I had to pull my accounts and found a wonderful bank (Frost) who take customer service to what it should be.

Got here a little early, but I'm imprisoned in the atm room out front while the staff very loudly laugh and joke around. I'm only 15 minutes early, and they told me they can't see me yet, but they could at least let me sit in a chair in the waiting room... Even as I'm typing this review, I can hear someone screaming and laughing inside. Gives off an unprofessional, and inhospitable vibe. I'm not impressed with my customer care.

Current manager is completely worthless shoes no ability to manage and will lie directly to the customers face. Wasted 2 hours on my time having me drive to another location. The locations reviews are directly related to her lack of management and integrity

A lot of their banking policies are unfair to the customer, including at anytime if the account is negative even though the transaction has not posted and a deposit was made. I wonder how long they will be able to get away with these practices. Considering that Wells Fargo Bank of America and other large financial institutions have been sued with large class action lawsuits due to posting of transactions on the account which favors the bank. Even though it was not posted to the account yet and you receive a notice saying that your account is negative and you look at your account history which shows the complete opposite of it being in a positive balance. Even for a couple milliseconds they will charge you an overdraft fee even if you did a transfer to cover the transaction within minutes, you are charged an overdraft fee which is ridiculous! I even bought shares of BBVA I sold them after I found out about these policies and I'm in the process of switching financial institutions! Also, customer service at this bank is horrible! I have been laughed at hung up on, told that I don't know what I'm talking about and I'm freaking tired of it! Not to mention they will argue with you and are completely unprofessional. I was in the financial industry for many years and it's difficult to talk to employees that do not know what they are talking about at A bank's policy that takes advantage of customers is wrong. That is not looking out for the client's best interest and making sure that the client succeeds financially!

They have improved their service but still lagging. Takes too long to assist one customer. Their ATM aren't very responsive when it comes to touchscreen, they are really bad compare to their competition. Even credit unions have better ATM and customer service. When you make a check deposit they too long to credit the money into the account, other banks are way faster than BBVA. Calling them to customer service line it's a while social experience... Unless you are a very patient person get ready to suffer 20 to 45 minutes on hold (I'm serious). Your issue might get solved otherwise you are alone in the world. There is only one reason why I keep this account open other than I don't recommend this bank.

****UPDATE**** They also charged me a fee on my "free" savings account 2 weeks before I was supposed to get my $50 bonus, which dropped my balance a few cents below the threshold to receive the bonus. Even after fixing it immediately, I still was screwed out of the bonus. This is a terrible bank. I would never consider BBVA for anything again. This bank is absolutely atrocious. After trying to open an account online, via an advertisement online that states (misleadingly showing links to Apply Now) if you open an account you are eligible for a $200 bonus and if you open a savings account you are eligible for an extra $50. After attempting this, but finding no promotion code, I called to verify that following the links and requirements would in fact give the advertised promotion. That is when I was told you have to open the account over the phone or in a branch ONLY to get the promotion. I followed the instructions and opened online. The agent that opened online DID NOT do it correctly, which has led to 3 days and about 6 hours of sorting through this with completely clueless employees, and several different answers. Finally, after going to a branch, I was told that they cannot actually enter the promotion code for me because the first guy screwed up, but they'll note it in a ticket so I can argue my way through the process after I meet the requirements in the first 60 days. Not at all hopeful, I agreed, and opened and funded the account. When I login to online banking, I see they have opened FIVE different accounts, and no one, once again, knows why, how or what effect this will have on the stupid promotion that triggered me to even attempt to open an account. I am too far into this to stop now, but I caution all to beware the bait and switch tactic and incredibly poor customer service and organization what so ever! The only saving grace they have is the manager of this branch that was incredibly helpful. HE EVEN HAD ISSUES TALKING TO THE BBVA COMPASS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Just shows what a giant circus the business is.
