This place does business with bad car dealerships. They will report everything negative to creditors and quarterly charge you thousands for in-house insurance if you do not provide proof of insurance.

I was approved for a personal loan, with my credit being 790. Easy process. Then I received a very unprofessional email about “you didn’t do this right” and “I need these things”. So I call the representative that approved the loan and emailed me and she was nothing but rude on the call. I just had some questions and she would cut me off, correct me with attitude, and almost sass my comments or questions as if it was my job and I’m stupid for not knowing this stuff. I have decided to not take the loan, yes it would have helped me with some personal matters, but I do not want to have to work with her ever again. I used to recommend Southeast financial, I never will again. I know they don’t care to read this comment or fix what happened, but at least people looking for reviews will be able to see this!

I could never speak to anyone on the phone, only by email. This makes things extremely difficult because of all the questions. I ended up getting my financing through a totally different place and it was so much easier and less stressful. After I was told I was approved, then was told I was denied. Now I just got an email saying I was approved! It’s so unorganized.

I am customer at south east financial cu. I didn't have option to give them less than one star. I took car loan and paid installments in full never missed a payment.After three weeks of waiting I tried calling their customer service nobody pick the phone. I personally visited credit union at Downtown Nashville Robertson parkway on May 4th 2017 around 3:30 pm to ask how long does it take for my car title to be mailed and second information about requirements to open a business account. There representative name India was very rude and had a insulting attitude towards me. She kept cutting me in the middle of conversation. I later left a message for her manager for the rude behavior of there customer service. To my surprise neither the customer service rep nor her manager gave a courtesy call for followup. I am glad SFCU showed exactly how they treat their customer will never do business with them again.

In 2010 my then wife and I went through a bankruptcy. We had two vehicles financed through them. One of those was my truck, which was not part of the bankruptcy. I continued paying on my truck for another year until it was paid off. That was June of 2011. When we never received the title, my ex called to find out about it, the loan people were very rude and belligerent and told her that we wouldn't see that title unless we came up with the $3500 that they lost on the other vehicle which WAS part of the bankruptcy. When I called them to ask about this, they refused to talk to me stating that 'my name is not on the account'. Never mind that my name is clearly on the title, so therefore I would have had to sign the loan documents. It's been over 5 years with no title. Tomorrow I will be going downtown and filing a complaint with the State Department of Consumer Affairs. I will also be doing the same with the Better Business Bureau. Their actions were deplorable and totally ILLEGAL

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS PLEASE BELIEVE ME I WOULD! I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES SINCE DEALING THIS CREDIT UNION AND IT IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE EXPERIENCE FROM BEGINNING TO END! I HAVE ALWAYS PAID MY CAR PAYMENT BY MAIL CERTIFIED AND NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN, TWO FREAKING CAR PAYMENTS ARE JUST UP AND FREAKING MISSING! I HAVE ALWAYS PAID THIS WAY NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN IT'S GHOST! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The head guy in accounting who reports to the credit bureau continues to exercise an abuse of power!!! These people close down my account after 16 years when I moved. Charged me with a $32.00 fee. Sent correspondence to an old address, then reported me to the credit bureau. WTH The account has been paid in full! Yet, they refuse to remove it from my credit report. Bad business! Where's the loyalty..👎👎

They made my day. Called and they took care of everything in hours to get the vehicle I wanted with low apr. Very hard working friendly lady helped me. She made sure I made it through the process. So helpful and professional.

I walked in to open an account, there was not a single customer in line or in the lobby. There were 2 tellers and 1 banker. None of them said a word. I was never greeted, amd no one asked if I needed help. There nothing better to do the shuffling of papers and silence as I sat there and waited 10-15 minutes before getting up and walking out.
