    I called the customer service for Rio Grande Credit Union this afternoon because it's mobile app for some reason was not recognizing my password. I was able to log in online with no issues but not on the mobile app. The representative that took the call who said his name is Anthony kept interrupting me as I tried to explain the issue and he seemed to think the issue was that I did not know what I was doing, it could never be their system. I asked to speak to a supervisor which he refused to allow me to do. I have done business with Rio Grande Credit Union for a few years and I have never been disrespected untill now. The representative's behavior was unacceptable. The issue was not resolved. Next time I will just drive to one of their locations and speak to the branch manager personally. The representative today needs training on his customer service skills, to say the least.

    I was banking with Bank of America for over 17 years as a college student at UNM. I had decided it was time to move to a credit union and even though I was a UNM alum I did not have a positive experience with nusenda and moved over to Rio Grande CU. It was the best decision I have ever made and over time my credit union has always made me feel like I mattered as a member. This was proven to me yet again, that my credit union cares about my financial stability. Ms. Katie Blankenship, at the San Pedro office, came to my rescue regarding a most stressful life experience. She showed me a compassionate side of the banking industry I have never ever seen. She helped me with understanding and she did everything in her power to alleviate my most stressful situation. I am humbled and most thankful to her and my Rio Grande Credit Union! Toda! Ms. Blankenship.

    I've been going to this location since it was at Mountain fourteen years ago. The people know me and call me by first name (which I prefer). They're more like an extension of my family than bank employees. I'll never leave RGCU.

    I have been a member for 23 years; its very disappointing that when you call that noone ever answers the phone. I have waited on hold for up too 2 hours finally just giving up. UPDATE: just sent a email with my phone number; let's see if anyone calls back! UPDATE: I was contacted by Rebecca Gutierrez; I'm am once again a HAPPY CUSTOMER not only did she contact me but my issue has be resolved. There is a issue possibility with the phone service affecting their department.

    Has to be the worst customer service of any credit union. I have never had a friendly teller at any branch. It is clearly a culture of terrible service since it is at every branch. I finally wrote a review when I was informed by my mortgage company that Rio was reporting an old account as late on my credit when it never was so I called Rio and they confirmed that it never was late. I asked if they could update the report to the credit company and they told me to file a dispute online with credit companies rather than just correct it themselves. The lady was incredibly rude of course and offered no other solution.

    I went to open another checking account. I actually felt like I had to beg them to open it! After he finally opened it, the guy didn't even give me a folder with my account information. I also have an account at Nusenda and they are amazing! I thought I'd open my son's account here to keep our banks separate but now I'm kinda regretting it! I have no idea what my account number is. At Nusenda they deposit the money as soon as you open an account I had to go back to the teller and it seemed like none of them really cared for their jobs. When I first walked in the greeter wasn't even at her desk so no one helps or asks anything. You would think because it was a brand new smaller branch you would get excellent customer service! Nope it was horrible!

    Worst bank ever!! I applied for a simple personal loan and haven’t heard back from rio grande once. I’ve been calling them the last couple of days and have been on hold the entire time. I shouldn’t have to call to get the rio grande staff to do their jobs. I submitted all my paper work on my end.
