Horrible when it comes to getting a claim check endorsed. The loss draft department doesn't communicate and it's been a month just to get my checks signed. They weren't even signed and were sent back to me. I still haven't received my checks back. Once I have all 3 checks then I have to send them back and hope I can get all of them in a timely fashion. No one here can communicate unless I call and find out. I was told on the 23rd of December my checks hadn't been mailed back to me. Now today I'm told they were mailed out on the 21st. Ridiculous, I can assure once I get this situated I will be refinancing my home and go with a local mortgage company to avoid this non sense. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FREEDOM MORTGAGE/PROCTOR LOAN PROTECTOR TO ANYONE.

Had to overnight them a check for co-endorsement for an insurance claim. Told it would take 2 days to scan in and 7 - 10 business days for review and endorsement. Come to find out it was 7 - 10 business days for review and then another 7 - 10 business days for co-endorsement. They kept telling me it was escalated in the review, then approved and then just waiting for the co-endorsement. Week later it isn't showing as shipped in the UPS tracking I paid for. Get a supervisor on the phone who told me it was just handed over for co-endorsement today...12 business days after it was scanned. She even acknowledged that it was 2 days behind so I don't see how anything was escalated when not even part of their normal time frame. Not the supervisor's fault, but the company itself. Also, everytime I'd call, things were always not true on where things stood. Stepping back an entire week of where things stand. This is horrible!

I've worked a lot of customer service jobs over the years, and Proctor definitely ranks higher among most of them. Yeah, it's a lot of being tied to the phones, but I always felt like management had my back and was responsive if I ever needed help as opposed to other places. Even after going remote, they made the transition pretty simple. Benefits were good and I liked that there was room for growth in the company.

I would give this company zero stars if I could. This company only cares about themselves and they definitely do not care about the values of their employees. They will hire you, train you, then fire you the first day on the job for asking questions. It’s the first day on the job how can you fire someone that just wants to make sure they are not making mistakes to avoid it but ends up getting fired anyways. Oh and they will hire you through a pandemic and fire you a week later knowing the world is in crises and many are without jobs. They treat you poorly, the trainer doesn’t put any attention to your questions and needs, you can tell she’s just collecting a paycheck. I’ve never been so disrespected from a company before. I should have read the reviews before I took the offer. This company is a joke and so are all their employees. If you think it may be to good to be true, it might just be. A small, unknown company like this one isn’t worth it, look elsewhere you’ve been warned.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! As a now former employee I will state that they seem like a great company to work for until you're there. The call center is high volume, low respect. I worked my butt off every day for almost a year, watched others who did half the work I did be offered permanent employment as I waited patiently. Injured my back and worked as much as I could, being unable to sit without pain, for months. Finally, two weeks ago I was back in the emergency room for the required doctor's note, only to find out I had to have emergency spinal surgery. Found out just this week that less than 12 hours after my surgery I was terminated for attendance issues and poor productivity. Funny thing is, I had very high productivity numbers. They will make you feel comfortable, that you have a job, and then fire you for having emergency surgery to do your job and live a pain free life! This company is a joke! They make empty promises and fire good employees for taking care of themselves.

My story is similar to the individual that posted about being fired after surgery for "poor attendance and productivity". I was working for Proctor for about 3 months and I was never given feedback about my performance but I would always ask to make sure I was performing well. Well that wasn't enough I guess, everytime I asked I was told "you're doing awesome" and "you're a rockstar" Only to leave work today day and get a call from my recruiter stating I was let go. I have never been so confused in my life, I was waiting for her to say "just kidding" but she was serious. No one in management ever talked to be about my performance, nor my attendance ever. Any time I ever took off was approved and only used for emergiencies. I feel like they smiled in my face and stabbed me in the back. It's a shame because I truthfully enjoyed working here. It's not perfect by any means but I've definitely worked at worse. It confused my recruiter as well because she also stated that she was hearing good things about me. I'm starting to think they just never wanted me to be a permanent employee. Just moved into a brand new house and fired without notice nor proof. No coaching, no nothing, I was under the impression that I would get hired in and work myself into a leadership role, but I was sadly mistaken. I never talked to anybody, I've stayed to myself but I was always working and always respectful. I'm typing this the same day it happened, and I'm still confused on what happened. The only advice I can give is ......be careful..

Worked there for over 6 years... Let's just say DON'T GET SICK if you don't have a position other than a "regular employee"!!!!! NEPOTISM is more common than not! My first couple of years were good I must admit... Tyrants took over and an unfair, almost unheard-of production criteria took play. The majority in leadership put on an image of professionalism and are not as knowledgeable about the business as they would profess. Being promised a position but unfortunately I fell ill... Then my world there crumbled drastically. It saddens me at times of the mental abuse I endured there... Unable to go to anyone there in fear of termination. Being let go was honestly my release! FACT... Anyone that posts a favorable review IS still employed there!!

Proctor represents Home Point Financial in the support of our mortgage. Home Point purchased our mortgage after closing, and I guess their online servicing is okay; it has the basics. However, their support for my current insurance claim is borderline fraudulent. After a broken pipe made our house un-livable, we began the process of finding a contractor and working with insurance to file a claim. The insurance company (USAA) was fantastic and turned around an estimate and wrote a joint check to us and Home Point/Proctor quickly. Home Point/Proctor mandated that we sign the check and send it to them. They cashed it immediately. However, due to the mortgage clause Home Point/Proctor has a long process to get the funds released to us to make repairs. After completing their rigorous process and submitting all required information, we are now waiting over a month for them to transfer the money to us! We are funding the renovation project fully out of pocket now because we can't wait any longer. My calls and emails go without a reply, while a large sum of cash sits in their possession gaining interest. I understand due diligence to protect an asset but the customer experience has been abysmal. They have misplaced documents, passed us between agents, and missed four commitment deadlines to get back to us. It feels like they want to hold onto the cash for as long as possible regardless of our status. We have absolutely no visibility into where they are holding our money, it’s status, interest, etc. The only time they call is to try and sell us on a refinancing program- which they know we couldn’t get underwritten anyways because the house is in disrepair! Stay away.

Proctor Financial, INC has my check for the damage to my roof they sent a very small amount that is not even the amount my Insurance company sent to me. The contractor said that was not even enough to purchase materials the address fits them just right 5225 CROOKS Road Troy Michigan. These crooks and Bayview loan servicing work together and they both need to be investigated

This company is fraudulent. They will take your homeowner's check and reinvest it to make money for themselves. Please avoid them and any mortgage companies that use them for Loss Draft, like Home Point Global. I had to file a complaint with BBB. Next up is the police department because they have defrauded me. Save yourself the headache and loss of time and go with someone else.

    Response from the owner
