    Sarah is extremely rude and so are most of the other women that work in this office. I was approved yesterday and submitted paperwork which confirmed the income that I said I made and when Sarah called me today she was rude and just said “I’ll decision this out” and would not tell me what that meant. I had to go online to check my own status to see if I was approved or not and found out that she denied me. Stay clear of this place. They are liars.

    I liked the fact that my paperwork was done & all I had to do was sign it & that money was electronically transferred! However, I was in the parking lot at 1:30pm for my appointed meeting time at 2pm! Sign on door read OUT TO LUNCH! The agent finally opened the door at 3:30pm!!! I should have been informed that agent I had worked with was not there and/or informed I could choose another day to come in or later time that same day! I found this unprofessional business practice! I appreciate all ONE MAIN has given me, but this just was not right!

    I received an offer letter from one main financial in the mail pre approving me for 10k @ 10% interest. However, once I got on the phone with the local office I quickly realized that their sales strategy was a clear bait and switch. I find this sales strategy to be highly unethical, and I have no intention of ever working with a company that utilizes this strategy.

    I needed financing for a transmission work. I initiated my call to Kevin the Branch Manager in the early morning while at work, and by 5:00 pm or shortly after I had my loan. They staff was friendly and helpful and their efforts got my vehicle back to me the next day. They set reasonable payments that should not cause me any hardships. Having your transmission go out is a terrible feeling. These folks contributed to the experience feeling very positive. It is good to have a service out there when it is needed that does require an arm and leg to help you.

    Our loan girl , nikki, told us that we were approved for our loan. She had us set up to come in and sign papers the next day. We were ready to pay bills off. Then she called later that evening that her manager could not approve the transaction because he has a limit that he can approve. So she said that she would call another manager through their 1-800 number to get it approved. She never called the next day, it was the weekend so we expected a call on Monday. She called and said that they couldn’t approve it either that we just didn’t approve for it. So she said we can give you less. And it was significantly less. We said either get us what you said or nothing. Then she wanted us to pay that month for our current loan and wanted to tack on a late fee, AFTER she had said that we were approved for this loan and the first payment is not due till July. We told her no that since she did this she will make it to wear we make no payment this month and we still don’t pay till July. Well she delivered after constantly back and forth. But the problem with all of this is she set expectations that she did not have authority to set. Such a horrible experience after this were done with one main!!!

    I don’t know what happened, the people that are at this branch are not helpful at all. When i first signed up, everyone was nice and clear about what I was getting myself into. Now every time I ask a question, I get the run around and no one seems to want to help. Apparently all they want now is your money. I do not recommend taking out a loan with them.

    I will preface this by saying the people at the One Main 1-800 number were incredibly helpful. HOWEVER, as soon as I was transferred to my local branch everything went sour. I was double-charged for a payment and then after I requested a refund, provided all sufficient documentation that the charges DID do thru (like hello, my bank account is sitting in the negative and there are overdraft fees galore) the individual I spoke with refused to help me any further and directed me to just talk to my bank.

    The 18% interest on the "pre-approved" loan wasn't great to begin with, but the payments were low enough that I would've been able to make two a month. They would've got their money, I would've been able to significantly improve my credit and pay less over the life of the loan by paying early. Win-win, I'd say. But no, only after they run my credit do I get a call saying the amount and rates are worse, and they want collateral. If I wanted a collateralized loan, I'd go to a real bank, not some online chop-shop. Know your role, bottom feeders... I wish some regulatory agency would step in regarding these predatory i-loan spots. In the meantime, I'll be doing my part by disputing the credit check and filing an FTC complaint for malicious business practices.

    waste of time they do not call you back and your loan approval amount gets dropped from the amount you are originally approved for.
