Mt. McKinley Bank University Ave, Fairbanks

I have only had wonderful helpful experiences with Mt. McKinley Bank employees, from the loan officers in both equity and mortgage departments to the tellers. As to some of the previous customer negative reports on this site, I can only surmise that it might have been unfortunately catching an employee having a really bad day,..and absolutely there is excusing poor attitudes and service, however, I think we’ve all been there,..I know I have, at least a few times in my life.

Good bank. However the University location is not IN Fred Meyers; it's on the NE corner in the same parking lot. The bank inside Fred Meyers is Alaska USA FCU. The mortgage lending team downtown is top notch.

Have had consistently positive experiences in my banking with Mt. McKinley. The team is helpful and welcoming. I enjoy having a local financial institution and the relationships that develop.

Love this location as we live on this side of town. Employees are always friendly and helpful! Love the discounts offered for seniors! Love the offer of higher interest rates with new money. Can't go wrong at this bank.
