    I’ve overall had a good experience with them, up until recently. I’ve always recommended them to friends and said good things but I will now be switching banks. I got charged 2 fees for charges I did not authorize and they refuse to reverse them because of “policy”. They had also been charging me a fee every month for bill pay that I had asked them to shut off but I guess that never happened so I was charged for around a year and she said she was only able to reverse 2 of the fees. Asked to talk to a manager and she said none were available and that the ones answering phones make the decision. So now I am stuck. Fees are clearly everywhere and they don’t do much to try to help with them. Very frustrated and disappointed. Edit: a manager did get ahold of me and did make things right.

    If it wasn't such a hassle to switch my car loan, I'd be out of here. I decided to come back and gift Mettro FCU a second chance after my first experience and it's been a headache. I had auto withdraw setup every other Friday (payday). I canceled for a few months as I was paid way ahead, and needed to make payments on my dad's finances after he passed away. When I came back to set up the auto withdraw, no one knew what they were doing. The branch referred me to CS. CS setup apparently as I requested, every other Friday. Well, when the time came around for payment to come out, it didn't. I called the branch and they referred to CS, CS said they can't setup two autowithdraw, and that I needed to do the second one. Sure fine whatever, I set up the second withdrawl. Nope, the next week I had two more come out.. I went to the branch and they advised to cancel the one I setup, (after saying "we don't really know anything about auto pay"). So with that advice, I was confused and asked how to confirm the payment would be made as it should, and she agreed to just "watch and hope". Prior to my autoloan, I had a credit card with them years before. At the time, they only allowed in person payments with cash which was such a hassle, but I did it. I'd go into the branch monthly and make the payment as required, down to $0. Half the time they would deposit it into some random savings account they required me to have. Then they'd call a week later asking when I would be by to make my payment. This bank seems to have no system, no understand of their policies, and no idea what they're doing. This branch is the one I deal with primarily, so they get the review. But the whole company needs to get on the same page and go through some training. Also requiring all service to go through the drivethrough is ANNOYING when your tellers can't even understand through the drive through. 2 stars because the interest rate I got on my loan was good, and the service is fine if you don't actually need anything. no dumb fees.

    Their acting branch manager Rachel, was extremely unprofessional. She literally lied to my brother about his check. Saying she called the check inquiry and it was fraud. And saying that the bank had never received a check like this. Keep in mind this is a check from a Multi million nationwide company. There’s no way it was fake. On the phone with her for several minutes and she refused to be of any help. Just kept saying she couldn’t accept the check. We go to the bank to pick it up and after several minutes of more talking she called the company that the check was from. Knowing that all they could do was verify my brother as an employee. Which they did. My brother kept trying to push that she call the actual bank manager and she refused. We took his check and went to a different metro. There they were not only able to deposit the check, but we also talk to the branch manager there about our situation. She called about the check. They had never received a call from Rachel. And several checks had been deposited with that company as the name. Like I said, Rachel was extremely unprofessional and honestly immature from my point of view. I hopefully never have to deal with this level of abuse of power. Especially when dealing a business that holds my money.

    Had to schedule an appointment just to be able to go into the store to open a bank account for my daughter at a bank I’ve been with over a decade. I also had to request additionally to have the appointment with a physical person or else it would be a virtual meeting inside the store 🤨. The most ridiculous thing I’ve heard of. You want people to bank with you but don’t want to actually have to interact with the customers/investors. To top it off, your employees are so out of touch with customer service because of the covid restrictions you implemented that even though we are past this whole crisis they seem to think that they don’t have to show common courtesy to loyal customers on the phone because of lack of human interaction over the last couple years.

    Very Happy with Metro FCU, the staff (on the phone and in person) are friendly and have answered all the questions I've had. I was really surprised at how fast my debit card and paper checks came in the mail after opening my account. Cheers to the staff at the Saddle Creek branch, you are the best!

    Worst experience ever. I always had my concerns with the quality of customer service at credit unions. I called them in the morning and asked them the process of opening a new account with them. The customer care executive told me it takes about 15 minutes, so I went there. To my surprise they were busy on phone (two executives) and asked me to wait. Then a teller called me and just noted my name and asked me to wait. I told him that I have another appointment after 20 minutes but no one seems to care about it. It seems they are least bothered about new business. Well now it's their loss and someone else's gain. I gave them the chance and they lost the opportunity to utilize it. Please stay away from them and go to a good national level bank. After all banking is also about relationship and experience. They are not into it. I wish I could have given them negative marks.

    I got approved for my auto loan w/ a low interest rate without having an official credit score! These people are great, they're truly there to help you build your credit and make positive financial decisions. They didn't give me a run around and everyone was friendly as can be! I would definitely recommend this bank to anyone who wants a safe and painless process for a personal loan or home loanm

    Metro came off as a good starting bank I am very particular about my credit and thought I could trust metro credit union... until they made a mistake on my credit and it dropped tremendously I am always paying bills and dues on time but somehow 3 months ago I missed a payment even thou I didn’t the system got wiped out or something and reported to my credit and no one was willing to help me.... I am very upset about it my credit was squeaking clean 🧼
