I have been at Bank of the West for eight years now without any problems other than a more than normal for a transaction to be concluded. They get 4 stars for all those times. The other day I went to the North Saddle Creek branch to make a deposit. I was the only one in the drive thru lane. I pulled up to the window and a few minutes later the teller came to the window and opened the drawer. I put my check and card in the drawer and said "deposit please". I did not hear the usual courteous greeting when making a transaction. I looked at her and she had a stoic look on her face. Ok, that's a little unusual. I then waited over 5 minutes for a simple deposit with a check from a major bank. I didn't understand why it was taking so long. Finally she comes back, opens the drawer and I take my card and the receipt. Not one word from the teller. I always hear "is there any thing else I can help you with"? Nothing. Some might not think this was a big deal, but yes, it was! I was raised to be polite and courteous to everyone, especially when I was working retail. Not anymore it seems, for way too many of the young people today. I hope the manager at this location let's the employees know that they are not doing us a favor for our business, we're doing THEM a favor for using their bank for our money. This was a no star day for the bank, only because I couldn't give a no star. Thanks for listening.

Khora and Brandon were very helpful in setting up a business account. They did seem short staff, so the lobby was open by appointment only.

Unbelievably awful customer service at this branch. The tellers don't know how to count 25.00 in quarters. They said you have to roll it yourself. Then proceeded to give me a dozen wrappers and told me to go to the parking lot.. For those who know how to count change 25.00 in quarters only requires 3.

I have read previous bad reviews of your bank, and I had to put in my 2 cents. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with all BOWs, but with this branch in particular. Personnel are ALWAYS pleasant, helpful and friendly. I have never had to wait more than 7-10 (at the most) minutes for service. They are always there to help with a smile and concern to make sure they have done all they can to help me. Thank you Bank of the West!

This new location on Saddle Creek suck the tellers are rude slow disrespectful this location is not ideal with all the new construction and all the other businesses on top of no good service I've talk to Brandon a few times I guess a body is more important than treating ppl right that help them receive a paycheck so I feel as though I'm not gonna continue to allow ppl to treat me rude at a place I do business with youe please talk to your staff and let them know we as cutomers and clients mayter.

Six months ago, I had written a review and given Bank of the West a "5 Star" review for offering me a $250 cash incentive to open a new checking account and to become a new customer. The previous review has been replaced with this one, because as of today (6 months since I had first opened the above bank account), I not only have not received the promised $250 offered by the bank, but I had to make a personal visit to the branch because there was no knowledge or information at the bank and its employees there about such a promotion. After one of the local employees made a telephone call (to California I'm sure), to seek further inquiry on my behalf, the person on the line made a very exact diagnosis: I had not been paid the promised $250, they were aware I had not been paid and yet said it will be another 3 weeks until the bank would carry through on its promise to me 6 months ago! Just once I wanted there to be an honest big business in America, albeit a bank this time. No matter the amount corporate America spends on marketing, advertising and incentives that are supposed to make you feel good about doing business with them, it doesn't. In the amount of time I spent initially waiting for the local banker to "figure out" how to open a new checking account, to the half hour I spent auditing my 6 months of bank statements looking for the missing $250, to today having to take another 30 minutes and drive to the branch for an in person visit, only to be told to wait another 3 weeks! If I could predict 3 weeks from now, I'd bet i will have discovered a new place for my money, but this time it might be a credit union.

The side walk in front of your bank is a solid sheet of ice. As a business, I would think you would provide a safe walking area for your customers and pedestrians who use that sidewalk on a daily basis. I sure hope that no one falls, including me, because you are going to have a nice lawsuit on your hands.

I have banked here for years because I have always gotten friendly courteous service whether it was making a simple deposit, opening another account or arranging a loan. I was disappointed when they shortened their hours last spring meaning no Saturday banking as because of my long work hours, that was the only time that I am free to go to the bank. I was so happy to find out that Bank of the West have gone back to extended hours at this location. Thank you! Thank you!

20 minutes (and counting) in a commercial lane is totally unacceptable. Got here at 11:30. It closes at 12. I have been stuck behind the same car for over 20 minutes and there are now at least 10 cars waiting. This has happened before and they really need to get their act together for the window

I had some negative experiences at this location before, however they have improved. This location has some of the best tellers of any location I frequent. They are always friendly and very helpful. It is also close to my work and convenient for me.
