Lizzie Lu's Island Retreat Marina Dr, Holmes Beach

We had a wonderful vacation and cannot wait to go back! This was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in. The rentals are beautiful, updated and very clean. Ben and Keren's attention to the details is amazing. We loved the easy walk to the beautiful beach and having a beach wagon with chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and a cooler made spending time at the beach a breeze. There are great restaurants nearby, but the best feature is the beautiful beach, warm Gulf water and perfect sunsets. We look forward to visiting AMI again soon and staying at Lizzie Lu's!

It’s hard to know if a property is nice from the pictures but in this case, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The home was immaculate and well equipped. The landscaping and pool offered a secluded place to relax and unwind. A short walk past one home and you are at the beach ... one of the most beautiful in the country. Ana Maria restricts development so you don’t have the large condo buildings and hotels on the island. It’s a great place to go if you want to enjoy the sun, sand, and water while staying in a beautiful home.

We stayed in the Southern Belle for two weeks...Proud to say that we were the first to stay in the newly constructed house! It was even more beautiful that we could have imagined! This was our second year staying at a Lizzie Lou's property. They think of everything! Honestly, it was like being at home... but with the Gulf of Mexico of course :)

Stayed at one of the homes on Gulf Dr. offered by Lizzie Lu's Island Retreat. Great place to stay when visiting Anna Maria Island. Not only close and convenient to the beach(5 min walk if that), but also close to many great shops and restaurants in Anna Maria, as well as Holmes Beach. If that wasn't enough, the effort and detail put into the home is amazing. Spotless and included everything you need around the home as well as pool, bbq and beach cart/chairs/umbrellas etc (From the photos, theres no doubt the same is put into any of the homes). Reservation was easy and Lizzie Lu was quick and prompt with any questions regarding reservation. Also have a mobile app that is very simple and easy to use, which makes check in/out quick and east, in addition also provides tons of information regarding the area. Exceeded all expectations, myself, my wife and 6 year old daughter could have not been happier. Without will be returning ASAP.

This is the second time our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at the Sunset Beach House. So beautiful and modern plus well equipped, maintained and designed! Quick access to the great beach - for the children to build sand castles and jump the waves and to enjoy family sunset time. The lovely pool was delightful. Above all, the hospitality and service by Ben, Karen and their staff rates 5+.

Great vacation on AMI! Loved our Lizzie Lu's rental house! It was beautiful, clean, had all the amenities you could ask for, and the location was perfect. We enjoyed everything about this home, just a very short walk to the beach, and the pool was fantastic!

We had a fantastic 2 weeks in AMI staying at Seahorse Cottage. The Cottage was first class, clean, modern, and just perfect. Pool could have been a little bigger but hey we had the gulf on our doorstep so it wasnt a problem!! Ben has been very professional in the run up to us arriving and the whole booking thing went very smoothly. Will we be back??? You bet!! but first have to persuade my boss for the time off next year. Lizzie Lu's is a terrific organization and Ben Ten Haaf a wonderful host. Nancy and I loved our 9 weeks and will be returning in 2020 in the same rental house. You won't find a more accommodating group of people anywhere on the Island. A class act in every respect!

Lizzielu ‘s Retreat has been an incredible find for us. It took a few years to get a place available and we just finished our 4 th year in Yellowfin. We love the Island, the house,and the management , Ben and staff. It is well appointed, clean, so comfortable, and well located. I think of it as myhome in Florida. I have been home in the snow for 1 day and already miss AMI. Get on the waiting list because you will not be disappointed

Awesome July 4th family vacation! Our stay at Sunset Beach House, 103 77th St., was perfect. Sunset Beach House accommodations were top notch. The home is beautiful and the pool area is so private and tropical. Best of all, the beach is so close...Paradise found!
