I had a crisis with my acts, to say I was hysterical is putting is mildly. The manager calmly had me in her office and helped figure out the issue and give me a new debt card. She was my hero, I work hard for my money and I cant afford for anyone to steal it, thank you to the whole branch for their kindness during my crisi💗

I’ve been banking with Langley for a little over a year and so far I haven’t dealt with any issues. This is my favorite branch in the area and I have visited quite a few of them. I don’t often have to go into the branch because I handle most of my banking online but when I do go into this branch there is rarely ever a wait. The tellers Ive dealt with are very kind and don’t rush you through anything you’re doing. My favorite part of Langley so far has been their secured loans. It has helped me rebuild my credit over the past year and made it possible for me to now have a credit card and just be in better financial standing. I don’t have my car loan through this bank but hope to refinance here because I’d much rather be at this bank then NAE Federal Credit Union. I recommend Langley to anyone who has had issues with their credit and are restarting utilizing a bank. When I first opened my checking account it was one meant for those with past issues but in time the moved it to a normal account due to me responsibly using the account. Before Langley I was using Chime which came with a lot of issues and now those issues are gone. It’s good to have the option to be able to go into a branch when I absolutely need to. There may also only be a few banks in the area but it’s really not that inconvenient, there is one in most of the populated areas of Hampton Roads. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the app can be finicky but it has become so much better since I started banking, not an issue with this branch but with Langley all together. If you live near the oceanfront or First colonial area, I highly recommending going in and talking to someone about what they can do to handle your needs.

Very sweet, never had any issues here! Always quick. I highly recommend this bank to anyone honestly. I have almost every single account with them (auto,checking,cc). The 1800 number is amazing. I’ve been a customer for years and never had poor service.

The only reason why I gave them two stars is because they actually gave me my money back.Be mindful with your account here someone who looked nothing like me took my money out of my account the teller paid no attention to my ID that came on the screen!!!!! She shouldn’t still be able to work there.This has made me really want to change banks!!

I was helped by Eric Sutton with my vehicle refinance. He helped speed up the process and even stayed after the bank closed to make sure I didn’t have to come back again. This is why I’ve been banking with Langley for almost 10 years.

I had the account for about a year before I actually used it and just when I do start to use my business account the problems begin. 1st the lady that actually set up my account put in a invalid address which caused a issue when I wanted to check a balance on my card because when I gave my address the information didn't match because of the error that was typed in. 2nd I go to make a deposit one night and the atm not only takes my card and wouldn't release it but it also took my money. 3rd I go into the bank one day to make deposit and the teller after giving her my bank card and Identification card puts $650.00 in another person's business account and it's a good thing a got to my car and looked over receipt. They have some nice people that work there but not able to assist with some banking issue which was just trying to make transfers through my phone app and it wouldn't allow me to do so which causes me to have to go into the branch just to transfer from savings to checking on a business account and there aren't that many branches so its more of a inconvenience. My experience has been not good at all but my work for others.

Terrible customer service. Active duty service member who had relocated and is penalized for paying online. Tried setting up an auto transfer, didn't work and wasn't told of this until they had negatively effected my credit score. Now I have an online account and no payment methods on the website work. Can't wait to get rid of this bank.

Their website has very limited info on their business checking and says you have to contact a branch. When you CALL the branch, your call is redirected to their call center where they know little about business accounts. Despite 2 representatives assuring me I didn't need a personal account to open a business account, when I get to the branch, the rep there tells me not only do I need a business savings but also a personal savings just to open a business checking account.

Loan rates here are comparable to NFCU if not better all around. I've used NFCU for over 20 years and decided to open another acct here after they gave me such a good loan rate on a vehicle purchase. Employees were very helpful and friendly. No crowds or lines either!

my boyfriend and I came in on a saturday with a million questions. the wait time was fast and they sat us down with a Ms. Emily S. she was the sweetest lady; answered every question we had and went above and beyond to make sure we left happy. langley needs to give her a raise! she does her job exceedingly well.
