The worst experience ever and the manger told me for a company that I own I have to have a letter from everyone on the account to add someone to the account even though it is a single member llc which it states that on file . Also told me that the teller can help me close my account she could not be bothered with something so small.

    Response from the owner

Thieves, absolute thieves. They don't even care that they steal from a child trying to learn banking. Good lesson, banks are people who steal from the poor to give to the rich. Open an account for a kid and was promised this and that and he could learn all about banking with just a couple hundred dollars. Next thing you know the kid is hit with fee after fee until he's overdrawn. Fvck Key Bank and everyone that works for this thieving company.

Twice now money was pulled out of my account by a person with my same first/last name. It happened at a different branch location but the Martin Way branch wasn't helpful in anyway about helping me get my money back or providing me with an update. After waiting for a return phone call and two visits later I called the fraud department again and they informed me that the Martin Way branch did have the info to assist me further. Apparently they just didn't want to. I detest this branch and the people who work there. Thankfully the fraud department told me I can use another local branch to deal with this and close my account so I never have to set foot in the laziest, worst customer service bank/branch ever. Update: I called the Seattle branch who made the mistake and was immediately taken care of by their branch manager. Thanks for nothing Martin Way branch!

My husband and I have had a joint account here for years with no problems. A few months back you hired a male teller that only gives us grief! I've brought my husband's check in to cash and deposit, no problem. I send my husband to cash and deposit my check, that's a problem! So now I have to endorse my check to my husband to cash and deposit. EXCEPT today! I endorsed my check to my husband, who's on the account, yet they wouldn't cash and deposit it! So sick of the every other time rules!

    Response from the owner

Hi Melissa: This is not the type of service we strive to provide our clients and thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I will forward this to our Branch Experience Team for their review. Let us know if you have any questions/concerns, we're happy to help. ^LH

Charges you 7$ to cash a check their customer writes to you. . When asked what the $7.00 fee is for they simply say its the fee for cashing a check if you don't have an account with us. Then she asked if I'd like to open an account. Sorry but punishing potential customers with a fee like that wont get any business from me. Not to mention the sub-par service with a several person line but only two slow tellers and yet theirs 8 vacant teller stations in a rediculiously gigantic bank. maybe they're offsetting their exorbitant overhead and shotty service.

    Response from the owner

William- Thank you for your feedback, KeyBank charges non-customers a fee to cash a check at our KeyBank branches. While we believe the fee is reasonable, and is an industry standard, I understand your frustration. None of us likes to pay fees, even when we understand why they exist. I would like to offer you an explanation: KeyBank is glad to render services to our customers – services they pay for through regular checking account service charges. We are just as glad to render these same services to those who are not yet our customers – we simply ask that they “pay as they go” for them. Checks cashed by those who are not our customers still require the same level of service, hence the fee. Also thanks for the feedback with teller availability, please let us know if there is anything further you would like to discuss in regards to this you can email us anytime at [email protected]. Thank you! -KeyBank Customer Care

Trying to recover a lost debit card from the drive thru atm. I called the bank and was basically treated like a criminal. I was told at first that they didn't have my card then told it was destroyed because they "didn't know" if it was a fraud situation. I used the atm to get cash... with my pin... not sure how that's fraud. I live 3 miles from this location. I asked to speak to a manager and was hung up on. Rude and unprofessional.

    Response from the owner

Kevin, sorry you had that experience. Please check with the issuing bank of your Debit Card for assistance and card status. Thank you. ^KeyBank Customer Care
