KeyBank Southpark Ctr, Strongsville

We didn't like the processes this bank does for unauthorized payments. Had a company take money from me and bank gave it to them anyway after me fighting for it and over drafted my account. No 24hr grace period, got overdraft fee for being negative almost $1 not even seconds after it happened. Account got hacked and bank still let the transactions go through and won't pay me back. Terrible app updates. No quick balance button on the app gotta sign in every time just for balance check. Bank giving away our unauthorized money is why we leaving this bank.

My husband has had a credit card with KeyBank for 4 years. We have never been late with a payment. Our last payment was due 11/23 and we mailed it 11/16. For whatever reason, KeyBank didn’t cash the check until 11/26. We were subsequently charged on the next statement both an interest fee and late fee. My husband called customer service to get an explanation and while they could waive the late fee, the interest fee $40 still applied. As clients that spend frequently with no extended balances, we were upset the $40 interest fee wasn’t waived (I get it’s a small amount but we feel it was a lack of customer service on their part, especially if they wanted to grow our banking relationship). We closed the credit card account as we were given no explanation by the relationship manager on why a one time interest charge exception couldn’t be given to our account. Take your money and bank elsewhere.

Edit/Update 10/2018: Not a single person in this branch is on the same page. I've gotten the run around from Key in general with their AWFUL customer service support line, constantly being told something different by EVERY employee associated with Key. After visiting this branch a few times to pay my auto loan I was told I could come in and pay on the due date with a debit card from a different bank, ended up not being true and was the icing on the cake for me leading to posting this review, which I should've done long ago. Horrendous bank, would not recommend to anyone. Stay away. **THIS BRANCH IS THE WORST BRANCH EVER. They can't even do an address change right, they put my accounts under an address THAT ISN'T EVEN MINE. After having SO many problems with Keybank and this branch specifically I have removed my accounts from Keybank altogether, what a horrible experience all over. How can you feel secure with a bank holding your money if they can't tell you 1 single thing right? Keybank is the worst bank around now, I tried them out because my parents used them years ago and they surely aren't the same. The customer gets penalized because the employee can't do anything right, it's totally unfair. Stay away from Key and ESPECIALLY this particular office!**

Worst experience with a bank ever. Offered to open account and receive $300 bonus. Made direct deposit to meet the condition, then they added more conditions that were not on the original offer. Requested that I made 5 or more debit transactions. I couldn't make those even if I wanted to. They never gave me a debit card. After visiting the branch numerous times, I gave up and closed the account. Paid service fees and cut my loses. Scam! I give this bank -10.

I came into KeyBank for a meet and greet event with Cav's players Larry Nance Jr and Larry Nance Sr. The entire staff was very nice, welcoming and accommodating to fans and banking customers. From the Branch Manager to Employees, very friendly and had fun with the fans and costumers alike!!!! #BannerGirl Thank you guys for the amazing seat's to the game last night and how awesome you guys were when I picked up the tickets for the best seats I've ever sat in. Terrible bank, terrible place to work. Closed my account said I was a risk... but won’t provide me any details. Do not bank here. Their app sucks, there mortgage process is awful with 90 day turn times. The home equity center can’t close a door. They are so unorganized.

The guy manager was the most helpful and professional banker I've come across. Started my account here haven't had any problems.2 outside ATMs and one inside

The only reason i gave this place 1 star is because it wouldn't let me give them no stars!!!!! These employees only care about themselves not about their customers. They have events for customers but then make it for their personal friends and family while they lock their paying customers outside in the cold.

Jason, the Branch Manager, was friendly and accommodating! I really appreciate him taking the time to help us with some changing around of accounts.
