    We bought our new Kia Soul last Saturday. Vance Kooy was superb! We had done our research on line and found the new 2016 Soul we wanted at Jerry Smith. I called and talked to Vance and set up a time to come in. After a short test drive, we were back with Vance and averred to the deal in five minutes. Now here's where things could have gone south. We were 4th in line, and there was only one "finance guy", Mike, and he was taking FOREVER with them. It was only because of Vance's great attitude, and frequent checking on us sitting in the waiting room that we didn't just walk out during the FOUR HOUR wait to get in to see Mike. Mike was a little pushy trying to sell us the extended warranty. Had I not already sat for hours waiting, I might have given it more consideration but I was tired and wanted to get my new car, so I cut him off. Sorry, Mike, I know that's how you make your commission but that day you lost ours. No hard feelings - hope you did better with the others that day.

    The service desk and sales staff has been nothing but friendly with me and my boys everytime we go in. I go in for oil changes and we are in and out in no time(with appointment). The waiting area is great with free popcorn, coffee, and water. There is also a kids room filled with toys, coloring gear, and a tv with movies.

    They mis diagnosed our car troubles and did $500 worth of needed repairs, but didn't fix what was wrong. When we came back with the same problem a day later, they realized their mistake and fixed it for free. So, we paid $500 to get non-critical work done. Not sure how I feel about that. But they tried to fix it, so good?

    They have free oil changes which is great, it takes a month warning to get the oil change. Thier deal of $5000 over blue book was a lie. I recieved 2000 for a 2010 kia forte. If you want kia go to the everett kia. They honor thier $5000 deal

    I had the worst experience here. The sales rep tried to rush me through the test drive instead of asking me how I felt about the car or describing the features. Instead he was trying to crunch numbers and get info on my trade in. When I came in again the next day after he rushed me off he was condescending and unhelpful. When I told him I was looking for a different body style instead of trying to find me the car I want he tried to sell me an even more expensive car!!! I was so frustrated! I will never do business here they really need better sales reps.

    Can't give zero stars. My wife and I have been in the market for a lightly used car (>40k miles). Driving down the I-5 corridor we noticed a bunch of used cars at this dealership that we wanted to look at. We should never have gotten out of the car. As soon as the salesperson noticed us driving in, he practically ran up to the door of our car and waited for us to get out. It took us about a minute to gather ourselves, so it became abundantly awkward. We explained to him we wanted to look at lightly used cars and we just wanted to see if I fit (6'6"). We saw a couple used cars that we wanted to inquire about mileage and price (as neither are listed; red flag...) He ran inside to get some info, but returned empty handed and explained he had a "once-in-a-lifetime" deal on a 2015 Kia Soul, that would be similar to the price we would be paying for a used vehicle. He indicated the used vehicles we were looking at would be right around our budget (still not giving any exact information). Before we even sat in the vehicle we asked what the pricing would be like. He avoided the question, and instead talked about all the features these cars had and why it was such a special deal. The deal: It was their 2015 Kia Soul test drive model. We visited on 10/4, so they are trying to clear the models out to make room for the 2016 test drive model. I sat in the vehicle and fit. Again we asked what the price would be. He took us over to the window of the vehicle with the MSRP and Dealer price. He pointed directly at the MSRP and said it would be well below that because they needed to move it. This intrigued us. We test drove the vehicle and loved it. Asked him multiple times during the 30 minute test drive (he took us for a "ride"), what the price would be again, just to be abundantly clear we wanted a price. No cigar. Instead we learned all about our salesperson's personal life. Sure wish we had walked away at this point, but we were interested enough to know the exact price they were asking. This is were it got weird. We sat down at this guys desk. His first question "If the price is right do you think we can make this deal today." Our answer "What's the price?" He gets up and walks away, returned 10 minutes later with paperwork to show us how we could make car payments. Still didn't know the price of the vehicle, asked again. Salesperson walks away again, no reason or explanation. Comes back, copies down some license information from our driver's licenses. Leaves abruptly again after being called to the sales office by his manager. I don't know why we were still there. But we were. At this point we are visual upset and have stood up. He comes back and shows us a price, finally. It was way more than he had originally "quoted". So we questioned him. He lied about what he originally said. Enter the sales manager. To his respect he let this go on way too long. He could tell we were pissed off. He started to show us #'s on the computer. He slowly started taking $500 off here and there. It was still way above the price initially indicated. At this point, we didn't even feel like negotiating. We were both stressed out, felt disrespected and had our time sufficiently wasted. My wife and I headed outside to talk to each other. So, we went back in, told them we were going to leave, more disrespect and pressure occurs. Walked outside to get into our vehicle when the original salesperson runs up to us to get our phone number to call us. I said no thanks and we left. All in all, we probably fell victim to a typical dealer ploy, but this made us really upset. We felt that honesty was never present. We probably would have walked off the lot with a car had they let us look at some used cars. Oops. And now they get a bad review. We will not be returning, ever.
