Great customer service!!!! Tara was there whenever I had a question. Im sure I had a few dumb questions as well, but she was there, ready and willing to explain everything, no matter how long it took. Also, it only took an hour to get pre-approved. I highly recommend HomeRate, and if possible, ask for Tara. Trust me, I never leave reviews for anything, but this was my first home purchase, and she made it easy from pre-approval to the day i closed.

Disappointing. Not honest or up front about things. I heard about this company through a christian radio station and I guess because of that I expected a certain level of honesty which I did not receive. I was honest about my credit situation and I knew exactly what my score was, instead of saying we are unable to get approval for that she said she would run it and see. Then I call back the next day because I never heard back only to be told they have a policy for xxx credit score which I had already explained I did not have. Now my score is lower because of the inquiry and I have a hard hit to my credit. I just expected honesty and it was not given. It's just very disappointing.

Tony and Tanya were amazing. I am a first time home buyer and had questions daily and they were always more than happy to answer anything and explain everything until I understood. They made the process very smooth. I would recommend them to anyone!

Scott Phillips did my refi in the middle of the COVID crisis. He was a real trooper as the rules were changing due to the pandemic. He made sure my original approval terms were honored even though lender criteria was changing rapidly in response in response to the world's financial uncertainty.
