First Midwest Bank S Ewing Ave, Chicago

If i can give this bank a -5 stars i will give it -10..i deposit cash CASH no CHECK CASH on Thursday and it did not clear till Wednesday...today i go to cash my check inside the bank due to the fact that i need my money NOW...i was told i can get 200 out of my $800 check..i already had 200 in my account so i was sure I will have 200 in there plus 200 cash...nope she gave me 200 out of MY CASH so wen i tried paying my bills NOPE DECLINE. i wen back to bank and she deposit back the 200 so now I'm at Wal-Mart embarrass because I was told by the teller my money will be available right away but NOPE GUESS THAT TAKES ANOTHER 3-4 DAYS..moral of this is if u need ur money right away or within the next 48 hours do not bank with first Midwest bank.

I bank here. Friendly tellers. No problems except that they sometimes confuse my account with my dad's (same name). They will cash in your spare change free if you bank with them.

Very professional and polite courteous and friendly knowledgeable I've been banking with this Bank for years under different names and personnel but these are the best. I've had I thank them for the their service

Loved it as standard bank in south deering the tellers were so friendly now they the new tellers here sometimes act like u bother them when asking a question thats why i always went to the Torrance branch.

the girls here are so nice and very informative. I had an issue with online banking and one of girls took her time to sign me up and help me install the app on my phone.

I’m fairly certain this wasn’t the first Midwest bank. The place doesn’t look any older than let’s say 1960?

Ok 👍 just need to extend the time of customer service hours and open on holidays That money and payments are always necessary 24/7 at all times.
