Came in to speak to a loan officer, Carlos, who was finishing up some work on a online loan, waited 20-30 minutes then his appointment arrived. I will not return to this branch again.

I was banking with Chase for years till they denied fraudulent charges on my account. Even with proof that I wasn't in the state they argued saying I still had to pay it. I left them and went to EECU as my whole family has used them for years since they were a Teachers Credit Union in Fort Worth. Today I went in and met with a man named Carlos M. Who provided the most EXCELLENT service and explained everything thoroughly and even answered all the questions I had. He even went through setting up online banking with me and showed me around the EECU application on my phone! After about 20 minutes I had a new debit and checking and savings set up! It was fast and super simple but most of all I know every time I go there I'll receive the most excellent service from the whole team. Even Sara at the tellers desk helped me set up an appointment and made the transition to talking to the banker super simple! God Bless the team here and thank you for the help!

Banking has been great with this company. I’ve been with them for a year and had great experience. I tried working with this branch to refinance my car and it was the worst decision. The associate was NOT knowledgeable in the whole process and what it would entail which they finally admitted after everything that had been done. Had to not go through with it bc of last minute information and the whole process with that associate. Tried talking to the manager and was informed he was too busy. It’s been a few weeks now and still trying to fix everything. So happy I get to pay additional fees for the next 3 months to get everything fixed. In the future, I will be making the drive to another branch if I want to refinance any loan.

After years of using this particular branch we will be switching over to the Watauga location. This branch won't return calls and the employees especially the one with a thick Indian accent is rude. She's rude on the phone and even ruder in person. She basically kept telling me I DON'T KNOW when I called to ask a question. The branch manager needs to get a clue

They justified $140 in fees in the first week of doing business with them and had tons of attitude about it too. Go to FTWCCU down the street.

Probably one of THE worst banks I have ever done business with. On a number of occasions, they have cost me more money in late fees, than its worth. We made payment arrangements which on the day it was scheduled, was confirmed by the places we were trying yo pay. EECU made the payments, it was recieved, then a few days later, the funds were taken back from EECU, resulting in those companies to impose late fees. They even did it twice on with our mortgage payments. Here's the kicker...we've only had this account with them for maybe a year. I don't know who is running things there, but its NOT right! Im surprised they are still in business. We have now reopened our Wells Fargo account and will slowly be switching things around until we are finally rid of this horrible bank. *Update 1/25/2021 The credit union replied back and asked us to contact them to "make it right" We called that sane week of the reply, then, twice more since...no one will return our calls. Just goes to show my point about this place. We no longer keep money in that account anymore, as we have gone back to Wells Fargo, who has stellar customer service and does not cost their customers money. If you were planning to bank with these folks, RUN! 2/05/2021-3rd Update: I was contacted by the Bank Manager and he seemed very apologetic with what I had put in my review. He kept blaming the epidemic, but the issues experienced happened before the epidemic. I overlooked that and decided to work with him since this was the first time I actually was able to speak with anyone from this branch. He asked for the information which cost us late and overdraft fees. I referred him to my wife because she had easier access to this information. She advised him that she would get him the information as soon as possible, as she is a special education teacher and she wasn't able to get it to him right away. She was able to get all information to him on 1/29. She called his direct number that day to confirm he had revieved it. She got his voice-mail. She waited for his return call, but it never came. She tried the number again the following Monday and again, voice-mail. So, that Tuesday, I emailed him asking the same question, and let him know she was trying to contact him via phone. He responded back the next day to inform me he had revieved the information, but had a family emergency to tend to. He insisted he was working on it, so I told my wife to give him until Friday to do his work since it shouldn't take long to figure out. Today, she called him again, two rings later, voice-mail. Now I don't know whats really going on with that place,but I now see why communication has never been their priority. At this point, we are calling it a wash, and the money we were out because of their negligence will be a learning lesson. I've now experienced their leadership, and understand why we experienced what we have. I'm in the process of switching over all my direct deposit amount to my Wells Fargo account and ridding ourselves from this establishment. Unfortunately, my district takes a while to switch over, as I have go to our payroll department to make the changes. We will be withdrawing whatever is direct deposited until that change goes into affect. What a shame.

There are much better CU out there. I put some money in 2017, 2019, I wanted to put money in 2021. After calling 3 times, many emails, lol I have to go into a branch to straighten things out. I will removing my money instead.

Staff members were very friendly and I basically asked about everything.so the bank officer had to manage not only every task he could plus make recommendations, he also had to deal with the fact that I talk alot. AND, the deals to manage your money, are MUCH better than a regular bank.

I have had a car loan with these folks for several months now. After paying my note the first three months (on time), I checked my FICO score only to discover my paying history was not even being reported to the credit bureau! I contacted EECU Customer Service to inquire about why my paying history wasn't being reported to the Credit Bureau. The representative informed me that sometimes it takes a while. It's now 10 months later and they still have never reported my paying history to the credit bureau which would help increase my FICO score; especially since I've always paid my note before the due date, and over the required monthly payment. I'm willing to bet if I should miss a payment they would surely report me to the Credit Bureau! Very poor customer service experience! Will never use this institution again nor recommend them.
