Kind, helpful, and friendly all in one convenient location. It’s a smaller branch than I used to go to, which made my experience there feel much more personal. If you need to handle banking through ESFCU, I’d recommend the Greenbelt branch! Thanks to Sean for the amazing service!

I've been on the phone in loops between ESCFU and my employer for not being told how to enter in my direct deposit correctly over and over again. They keep telling me to go back to my employer now, before I was given conflicting information. I'm about to give up and go to another bank to handle my direct deposit since this union can't seem to give me a correct answer. None of their slightly different ways of entering the account number have worked. This is month 2 and attempt #5. Now the phone people are getting frustrated at me for being confused that they're asking me to do things that I've already tried that haven't worked. I'm trying so hard to be patient and kind. I need to plan & grade. I'm so exhausted.

It pains me to do this to my credit union, but I feel this is the only way for my voice to be heard. I understand and accept all the policies that are in place. Today the ball was in your court. No other person banks at your institution with my name. I can more than gladly add more info and improve this review, if and when you do right by me. She was very efficient and very clean and fast what a clean smelling office it was joy to visit that branch.

This bank does shady business with local auto dealers that misrepresent their vehicles and stick it to the consumer or warranty company. No remorse. They also don't mail a monthly payment stub for my loan, I need to somehow make a reminder and mail a check every month myself. Annoying!

The service was awesome. I went to have my car loan refinance and through out the whole process, their staff , most especially Mr. Schroth, was so helpful. He guided me on what to do to have my loan approved. I was able to get a much lower APR as compared with the previous financing company which gave me a horrendous interest. Thus, I would be able to save a couple hundreds just from paying an interest. I highly recommend this branch. Thanks to you!

To whom it may concern: I would like to bring to your attention the excellent customer service I received recently from two of the employees , Ms. Tadosha Brooks and Mr. Sean Collins, at the Greenbelt office. Recently, I visited there for a routine transaction. While there, Mr. Collins took the initiative to inform me that I had an old VISA card, one that was issued years ago. Mr. Collins stated that a new VISA card might provide we with a reduced interest rate if I qualified. I told him was interested. Mr. Collins took my information and started the process. Afterwards, Mr. Collins informed me that Ms. Brooks would be contacting me on the following day with a result. As promised, Ms. Brooks contacted me with the good news that my application had been approved and that my new VISA card would be arriving soon. I have been a loyal member of this credit union since 1985 and I have always enjoyed great service from the employees. However, the efforts of Ms. Brooks and Mr. Collins deserve special recognition. These employees and others like them are the reason why I continue to be a loyal member.

This bank is not consistent. I have had good experiences with the people there but last few people I spoke with were terrible. It is taking a week to complete something most places do within an hour. Everyone tells you that you’ll get a call back that never occurs which is frustrating. There is a lack of professionalism and I spoke to one agent from loan services that had the worst tone and disposition I had to get the phone. I’m probably not going to get any other financial products from this company even though they have plenty of good options. I am very disappointed that this place actively recruits for educators business than treat us so poorly. I have never experienced disrespectful or rude behavior ever from a financial institution customer service staff until this place. It is 2019 and their app cannot even Zelle funds, I’m extremely unhappy.

I must say the experience of purchasing a car was made so much better with Tadosha's help. She recommended their liaison person to me and reached out to him on my behalf.
