Directions Credit Union S Telegraph Rd, Monroe

I called Directions credit union in Monroe on July 5th and requested to speak to the IRA section. Of course, I could not speak with a person. Had to leave a message with my phone number, It has now been 30 hours and nobody has bothered to call me. Must be either your business is so good, or your staff doesn't give a hoot.

My credit union is located in Detroit, so I do my banking here. Always decent people, always treated well. I've sent many co-workers to open accounts since our company credit is so far away.

I have all these fraudulent charges on my card and i can't even get through any of their numbers to dispute. I have been with this bank for years but im done! Ive never been able to use my online and they always act like its my fault. Well clearly not everyone's having issues not just me. It was bad enough when they converted to directions and now they gotta "update" which was a downgrade because I was ALWAYS able to call before. Idk what had to change.

I was an Education Plus CU member since 2013 and LOVED that credit union. I never had any issues, the customer service was always great and I always recommended them as a credit union to others. Since the merge to Directions, my husband and I have had nothing but issues. I hate the online banking platform, I cannot transfer funds from accounts that I'm joint on. I have to log out of my account and log in to the account I want access too, which does not make ANY sense. I'm joint on my siblings savings but not their checking account, that's a security risk. Why give me access to the entire account?! If I'm joint, I should be able to transfer funds from within my own online banking without having to jump back and forth. My husband was in the process of getting a new job, and completely forgot about his credit card payment and was charged a $25 fee. We have NEVER been late, NEVER. And the customer service employee told my husband they do not reverse ANY fees unless it's a CU error. Without even looking at our account?? Another member told me they were denied for a skip a pay on her auto loan because her payment was over $450, WHAT?! Even after they called twice to verify and were given multiple answers from different employees!! Needless to say, we have been extremely unhappy and will be transferring our accounts and I do not recommend this credit union to anyone looking for a financial institution.

'Seamless transition' at end of the year was ANYTHING BUT! I have had nothing but problems with automatic bill payments and deposits. Numbers I was given by teller for routing were incorrect...twice! I had to correct the issues on my own by countless phone calls and emails. ATM w/d 'cannot be processed, try again later' at least 5 times in the past year. On weekends when I try to log into my accounts my security pictures and phrases aren't correct. I have had my account reset several times and this keeps happening. Accounting of my Visa payments is ridiculously confusing and not even accessible on the Directions site.. I could write more but will be pulling my account!

Love this bank all of the staff here are so friendly. N when I needed a loan for a new car it was nothing easy as can be no hassle what so ever they are a great bank I wouldn't go anywhere els

I have had leases for over 12 years & usually through Chrysler. But in February this year the dealership put me with Directions Credit Union. Since February, 2019, I was sent the wrong woman’s payment schedule. Now I am sent a delinquent letter that I owed $23! When I called it was taxes that did not appear on my coupons. So each month I owe about $23 more that I did not know! I was told the loan officers are still learning. I said not at my expense! I have excellent credit & I do not need them to take me down! Horrible communication with this company. Definitely do not recommend.

Worst credit union ever since Directions took over. Tellers do their best but are limited. I have expressed many times to management and no one cares. We are pulling our money out and encourage others to do so.

Experiencing the same problems as a lot of others here. This place was great when it was Education Plus but has been on a steady decline since Directions took over. The loan officers lack experience and have very little knowledge of what they are doing. Very slow to respond to messages and basically just poor customer service.

Good luck getting someone to answer the phone. Once I chose my option for specific help, when no one answers a recording tells you to hang up and try again then disconnects your call. And often it will ring and someone picks up then hangs up the phone. C'mon people!!! It's been terrible since they changed to Directions from Education Plus.
