Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. Don't trust these clowns with your money. Just a few weeks after I opened my account, they charged my checking account for a $1000 check that wasn't mine and it took a week to get that fixed. I closed my account in nov 2016, and yet I still get monthly emails from them telling me my statement is available. I called just now and was told that somebody didn't complete the account closure process. Not surprised! Hopefully it's all closed now. But I would NEVER open an account with them again. I saw that CU of the Rockies replied to my original post (above) from 2 YEARS ago saying they would love to work with me on this. Really? After 2 years? I highly doubt it. Also, your credit union is STILL sending me statements showing my zero balance on my CLOSED account. What a waste of your members' resources! No, I will never do business with you again.

In only my 2nd telephone conversation with the Golden branch their representative hung up on me for being frustrated with their auto loan payment process. I was't rude. I have been a manager/owner for my entire career and if one of my employees ever treated a customer in this way I would have immediately removed them from customer service. I suggest using another institution.

Update from previous review left: - the mobile app was fixed and I haven't had any issues. - auto deposit has not been an issue. Eventhough I haven't seen it going in at 12:01 as the owners response stated they were trying for, I have never had any issues. They always post my paycheck prior to our mortgage payment, thank you for that! - we haven't had any loans so I can't update on if they have updated this to being online yet or not...

This is by far the worst bank iv'e ever had to deal with and I don't say it as an angry customer I am stating it as a fact. I have an auto loan with Credit Union of the Rockies so I figured I would open a checking account to set up an auto pay so the payment pulls automatically out of my checking account however iv'e ran into many problems with setting up my online account which led me to call the call center that iv'e been dealing with for over a week because every rep iv'e talked to states i'll get a call back and for over a week I never get a call back. But I bet once my auto loan payment hasn't been mad they would call me asap right? Iv'e also talked to the call center Manager and she couldn't even help me. All I wanna be able to do is have a great relationship with this bank but how can that happen if they don't want to appreciate my business.

Constantly have issues with this bank. We have three separate accounts and they’ve managed to screw something up with each one. I ordered checks that never came. When I asked about them I was told that they had been sent to an old address I haven’t lived at in several years yet they have my current address on file and manage to send me statements every month. They also sent my debit card to the wrong unit. I even confirmed the address ahead of time and they still managed to screw it up. They’ve screwed up business checking wire transfers as well. I don’t trust them anymore and will be finding a new bank that actually takes times to rectify their mistakes!

Honestly not surprised they have 3 stars... I used the ATM for shared branching deposit, when my deposit did not go through, the ATM did not give me my money back. When I spoke to the manager Ben he told me he could not do anything about it until Friday and did not even attempt to take care of the issue. He answered quickly as though he knew this was an issue in the past. They need to get this fixed. That is straight thievery!!!
Jae, we sincerely apologize for the issue with your shared branch ATM deposit. Occasionally ATM deposits jam and things like this are unfortunately out of our control until we can deploy a service technician to fix the issue. Due to the nature of shared branch transactions being guest-transactions for other credit unions, reaching out to your credit union is always the quickest way to resolve the issue. Occasionally our members have the same issues at other credit union ATMs and I love that we all can work together to collaboratively work through any experiences. I can assure you no theft occurred on this unfortunate situation due to a rare hardware malfunction.

Amber is very helpful, but this place NEVER answers their phone when you need to reach them. This is not a convenient place to bank. They also have ridiculous charges/fees for simple transactions such as making payments over the phone.

My husband and I have been banking with them for about 4 years. They gave us a car loan when other banks didn’t want to. We have our credit card through them and have gotten another car loan since them. I’m so greatfull they have given us the opportunity to work with them.

I've experienced plenty of banks and credit unions in my lifetime (spent a number of years in the military, moving from base to base) and the folks at CU of the Rockies really "get it." You can't walk into the lobby (I've only been in the Golden branch) without knowing they see banking in a completely different way. No teller stands, no lines. Just a big, modern living room and friendly reps who come to you as you walk in and then process your request from their iPad -- so cool!!
