If you're visiting North Carolina beaches, you MUST use Carolina Retreats. This company has amazing staff that actually care about their customers. Other companies like Coastal Vacation Resorts just want your money and are totally uncommunicative. I would never use another company other than Carolina Retreats.

Nicely remodel condo with great beach views. First visit for us to this are. From VA and typically do OBX or Hilton Head. It was a little more crowded and not kid friendly as the others. Lots of smokers and bad language all over the place. The rental company was great though.

We ran into an AC issue that was not only quickly resolved, but the company also offered alternative stays while we waited and offered a partial refund. Great company, would definitely rent again!

Due to Covid19 restrictions, we had to reschedule our family trip. Staff were “on top of it,” actually going out of their way to keep us informed and were very accommodating with rescheduling! We already booked our trip for next year and look forward to working with them again!

Badabing at "A place at the beach" was beyond underwhelming. Numerous issues with the property itself. Staff tried to address the issues but some things just can't be fixed. Asst Manager who came to resolve a towing dispute was quite brash, cursing outside for anyone to hear including my 10 year old son. For the same money elsewhere I have had top quality condos at multiple beaches throughout the Atlantic and Gulf areas. I did like the beach and pool. Update to answer: Your asst manager used the term a**hole twice in reference to someone putting a tow tag on my vehicle. I didn't mention anything about not being able to park just the language used and her demeanor during her visit. I gladly parked across the street to resolve any issues. I didn't switch any parking passes as you incorrectly implied. I used the parking pass provided and parked in a spot close to mine because mine was occupied by a neighbor. On my 4th day I had a tow tag on my vehicle. All I needed was to find out what was going on with the situation. Thanks.

It was a perfect place for me, my husband, 3 grandchildren and one tiny dog! Only a few steps to the beach so we ran back and forth the few times it rained. AC on the front porch made it a perfect puzzle place. We could leave it set up and still play board games in the living room. Close to everything including the aquarium. Had a great vacation

I love working with Blue Water Realty. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to find you the exact vacation rental you are looking for! I have used Blue Water for real estate as well. Everyone is very professional and great to work with! They also are very supportive of the local community, that is another reason I want to keep my nosiness with Blue Water!

This rental needs a bit of TLC. Positives- location, beautiful oceanfront views from covered balcony, and rental agency was very fast to respond, work with and assist on multiple items in need of repair upon arrival Cons- beds are old and hard as a rock (stained as well), all unit furniture is old and needs replacing (using plastic patio furniture for end tables in bedrooms) bathroom shower fixtures have mold in them, shower heads need replacing (spray everywhere), floor vents rusted through (not safe when you have a crawling baby!), limited cable in family room (don’t expect to be able to hook up a computer to try and get Netflix or anything either- TV won’t do it), kitchen dishwasher is VERY loud and from the 80s (never been replaced), the patio table furniture was rusted through and unusable (rental agency worked hard to replace for us), patio loungers in disrepair and should be replaced, limited kitchen pots/pans etc., and a fresh coat of paint could do wonders, elevator broke first day we were there and wasn’t repaired all week (one reason we booked Sea Colony was because they had one) Overall this is a place to book if you don’t have other options.... with knowing these caveats... my suggestion would be to get a redone unit in this building- not this unit until the owner puts some TLC and basic investments to make it a comfortable safe place to stay

Blue Water Realty was an amazing company to work with, Especially Kelli Taylor. They went out of their way over and over to be sure we were happy and to find our family the perfect home. They put you first and bust it to make you happy! Could not have been happier with our experience as first time home buyers.

Absolutely loved the house and Carolina Retreats were awesome. Highly recommend renting through them. Thank you Kelly, Grace, and Cindy for a wonderful experience.
