Just returned from a week at Carolina Beach. Rented the Oceanfront property. What a gem. Unfortunately we were not aware that a major beach restoration project would begin during our stay. The restoration was right outside our door for part of the week and work continued 24/7. Had we known we would have selected another property. When we brought this to the attention of CB Realty they stepped up and made things right. A business with integrity. We will continue to use your company. A class act. Many thanks.

My family of 15 rented a home on Kure Beach this past July for one week. I worked with Carolina Beach Realty and they were always very responsive and helpful. They made the experience an awesome one for all of us and we will use them again in the future for additional family vacations!

My family visited Carolina Beach for 7 days in July 2015. We stayed at Casa De Bamma Jazz on Bowfin Lane. This was arranged through Carolina Beach Realty. The accommodations were exactly as described and pictured on the website. We had six adults and four children and we slept comfortably. The unit had modern appliances including a washer and dryer which used daily. Three and half baths and generously sized rooms. It is only a block away from the beach with easy access. I cannot praise Carolina Beach Realty enough for their service. We started this process about a year in advance and they made it very easy. The staff was professional, informed and accommodating throughout. I especially liked their informative and timely emails. This is a quality business throughout that can be trusted to deliver a great service. We look forward to visit Carolina Beach again. I highly recommend Carolina Beach as a vacation destination when booked through Carolina Beach Realty.

When our condo was being roofed during our stay, they were kind enough to extend our stay 2 days after they were done so we could enjoy some peace and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay with those two extra days.

This summer will be the 4th time using Carolina Beach Realty for our family vacation. We have used a different property each year as our family has grown. Every property has been in good shape and as advertised with no issues. One year we did have a maintenance issue with a broken table and they sent someone the same day to repair.

It was a great company to work with. Very easy to find and very easy to use. Rental was spotless and looked great. Had only one problem,while playing football in back yard, the football flew on a balcony and we could not retrieve it. Called the office and they had it back to us in just a hour or two. Would stay again. In fact already planning next years trip back to the same spot. You won't be sorry you used these guys.

We have stayed at "The Pearl" a total of 4 weeks out of the last 4 years. The facility is right on the beach, has a beautiful kitchen, and the master bathroom makes us feel super fancy. Anytime we've had a concern (need a new light bulb or some small matter needs attention), somebody from the realty company gets us taken care of ASAP. We will continue to make family memories here for many more years!

Real nightmare, veteran renter/vacationer...... interesting too that my photos keep getting blocked/removed from this review...... I had very high hopes as the office gals seemed to always be available via phone and "reasonably" helpful. HOWEVER, the whole experience was really awful, in 15+ years of renting I've never had such a poor experience and I now avoid CBR in ANY listing as I just will NOT rent from them EVER again. While the staff is 'there' they are all very young and really don't seem to give a flip about anything substantial, if you're unhappy they just expect you to 'deal'; it was just obvious that after a few complaints they were NOT going to help and really didn't care to. To start, our rental was completely FILTHY, I mean DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY. I spent the whole first day cleaning just so I could feel 'ok' walking around the place or even using the toilet (we actually went to a Starbucks in Wilmington to use the loo and mentally prepare for returning to this rental, sad but true). I spent hours cleaning, I had little choice as we were STUCK unless we wanted to just pack up an go home (we actually did leave 2 days early). I did call the office, twice to inquire of ANY rentals we could switch to, and offered to pay double what I paid...."we have nothing available" - yet online they showed at least 4 properties I could 'instantly book'??!! That just ticked me off even further. Anything comparable in the area (even hotel-wise) was outrageous or only available 1-2 days of our trip. Further, the entire cottage was NOT renovated, which the listing mentioned TWICE. The photos were so misleading; the only renovation was the vinyl floor (which was repulsively dirty, see photos) and maybe a new ceiling fan. Cabinets were coming off the hinges, grease splatter all over the kitchen walls, dust and cobwebs clinging to walls, shower just plain GROSS....I could go on, but I think that's enough for this review..... We are veteran-renters, 15+ years of renting and while I've been a little disappointed with minor things from time to time, I never had such a horrible experience as with CBR, and nothing that ever made me this angry or want to leave 2 days early! FYI, If your'e going to rent key lime escape, don't believe the photos online!

Our condo was really outdated, some damages, and the cleaning needs a lot of improvement. The dishes were awful, we couldn’t make much, thankfully CBR brought some new dishes and a coffee pot, but it would be nice to have a partial refund for how uncomfortable our stay was, and the parking was awful, I scratched our brand new van mirror because it was such tight parking! I will not use CBR again because I feel their listings are not up to date, making you book a false vacation.

When you have to vacuum and unload the dishwasher the moment you check in, and pick up dog poop on the outside step, and check for bedbugs on your first night, I think it’s fair to say this unit (Cedars #4) is not as advertised. Seems as if Carolina Beach Realty cannot keep up with the many properties they manage and it definitely shows. They also seem to have figured out how to disallow negative reviews on their site and disallow their property being reported on air Bnb. Please look elsewhere for your next rental.
