I decided to take my accounts and my businesses to this Bank of America, as the PNC Bank on Grand River has a terrible new manager that I no longer wanted to bank with. While the wait time was a bit long to see someone, even with an appointment, the staff is incredibly friendly and was able to assist me in opening my personal and business accounts. It was an easy transition, and so far, everything from the online banking to the customer service has been great. I am so happy to deal with the staff and manager here and it is so much more superior than the service I got at the PNC Bank down the road.
Hi, Robert. Thank you for choosing Bank of America for your financial needs. We’re glad to hear the process went smoothly. Thanks for taking the time to let us know. ^alma

Recently had a series of very hard to deal with financial accommodations that were necessary and needed assistance badly. Mrs. Williams assisted me personally with getting my concerns addressed . The outcome was excellent. Banking for millennials is tough. Some people make it less stressful along the way.

Bank of America has a good online system but this branch is ineffective. The drive thru is closed and the teller service is extremely slow.

I do not recommend Bank of America and I especially don’t recommend this branch. My issues began about a year ago when my debit card information was stolen. I requested a replacement and after 30 days I still hadn’t received it. I called costumer service and they informed me “whoops, we never sent it out.” I asked them to rush it to me because I needed it and they did. A few days later I saw they had charged me a rush fee! I was so angry. I went to this branch for help. I met with a man named Solomon. he told me that he’d return the rush fee to me but he wouldn’t do it again. Which was super confusing cause this was bank of America’s fault. He told me I should have a credit card because if my debit card gets stolen I’ll have a back up option. He wasn’t wrong. I didn’t have any credit so I opted for a partially secure card with an annual fee of $39 He ASURED me. If I was responsible and paid it off like I was supposed to I could get the fee waived by the following year. So I was super responsible and even got a huge credit line increase. So before one year was up I went back to this location to have the annual fee removed, it was mid February. I spoke to a women named Nicole she was very nice and patient. She told me unfortunately that fee can’t be removed. And made me feel like I misunderstood. I was disappointed but I understand mistakes happen. She said if I didn’t want to pay a fee I should close my current account after opening a new account that doesn’t charge a fee. I told her I had $23 in cash back sitting in the account and I didn’t want to lose that money. She told me that If I reach $25 before the end of my billing cycle (March 5) I could redeem my cash back and close that card. So, I paid some bills and bought some groceries using the card. But after a few days I noticed my cash back wasn’t updating. I called customer service because I was concerned. I spoke to a women named Jessica at their Arkansas call center. She told me sorry, you don’t get cash back until the end of the billing cycle. I told her I was trying to avoid paying my annual fee. She said as long as I’m not carrying a balance by the end of the billing cycle I can get my cash back without the fee as long as I call customer service to close my card. I asked to speak to a manger to confirm. I spoke with Dylan and he agreed. Wanting to verify this information I called this branch during their open hours and no one answered. I went on with my day because I’m a normal person and I have things to do. February 28th rolls around and I noticed I was charged the annual fee! Confused I called customer service again. I didn’t write down who I spoke to. I explained my situation and he said he’d see what he could do. He said the refund for the fee didn’t go through. (I suspect it’s because I had a small balance on the card. I was paying a purchase of with automatic monthly payments so I figured it would be okay to let it go through 5 days because the end of the billing cycle) he told me there was nothing he could do. I called this branch several times during their hours and again no answer. I do not recommend this company to anyone. It seems they are unclear on their own policies or are willing to lie to get and account open. I would have been much better off if I just closed my secured account and opened an account with another bank. Because now I’m stuck with less money and a card with a company I do not like. At no point did anyone apologize for the misunderstanding or take any responsibility. It’s one thing to screw up, it another to not try to make it right. I will be contacting corporate.

I could not even exchange paper money for quarters unless i opened an account. BoA has lost any future business i may have offered them with because instead of being a service to the people, they have decided to be a members only club where even the most menial of transactions is disregarded unless you sign up with them. Chase bank down the street has no such rules regarding membership, by the way....I asked. Neither does Huntington bank, or any REASONABLE institution, hell i was even able to get quarters from a grocery store next door because that's CUSTOMER SERVICE Last time i ever set foot in a Bank of America, you don't want my business? i don't want your "Service"

One star because the bank is good but the experience was worse. The so called relationship manager, Brittney Borden, is of no use to people and making relationships to bankers. I was there to open an account for my wife (I already have BoA account) after viewing their online specials and Brittney told me she cannot accept the offer as she is not aware of such online offers. I told her it is on their website and she can look if she wishes to, but she was not at all interested in helping us. She told me she cannot help me and told me to go online and open an account. I sat in the lobby and opened and account online and then it didn't gave me the account number at the end of the process. So I asked her if I can get the account number pulled by using my information, she told me she cannot do that and asked me to call online service as I opened account online. Worse customer service ever. Since the time she saw us, her face revealed that she was not interested in helping us.

I was greeted promptly. Patrick handled all of my small business needs efficiently and provided me with a very nice customer service experience. Highly recommend this branch’s representative Patrick. Thanks for your help!

Not the best bank to be a member of. Every time I go in they pester me about getting one of their credit cards. Seriously annoying, especially when I plan on going in for a simple transaction and get held up and get asked questions. Ill be taking my banking somewhere else.

The staff are definitely nice and helpful. This is just an old location and could benefit from a complete remodel or moving to another spot. Every time I walk in the place smells odd. I can't place it, it just is the building. It's like the materials in the carpet or furniture are giving off a weird smell. Doesn't smell dirty or unclean, just odd. Most buildings smell natural, this one doesn't.

They do not pick up calls and if someone does, they do not pass on the message. Also my personal banker read out my SSN number while keying the details into the computer. Would strongly recommend going to another branch.
