1 location, locked out of my online account because it keeps asking a security question that i forgot the answer to from years ago , reset, same question popped up again?????? This bank isn’t worth the hassle.

Please change the drive thru hours, as yall do not open up at 730am as listed. I drove to arrive by 730am only to find out I have to wait another 45 mins until yall really open at 815am. Please change so others don't have to go thru the same hassle as me.

I just have to say, I used to work with Rebecca and Matt when they were the rockstars of the Loan Dept. a few years back. They were truly awesome, and for one such purchase used a bit of creativity to help me get the asset I was looking to purchase. Austin FCU has always been there to help me and my family with our... toys. :) What enablers, I tell you! Today, it's Mindy and Sonia whom i deal with - but the tale remains the same. AFCU's process is easy, straightforward, and is still built on what I call "neighborly trust". I trust them with all my major investments, and i appreciate that they honor their members just the same with repeat business. And that relationship is exactly why I keep coming back. Now... I'm really looking forward to AFCU finally having a mortgage product of their own. Currently, they partner with CU Members' CU. But then I recently found out that they're working to have this line of credit product rolled out to Members as an actual service offering of AFCU (regardless of holder). I find tremendous value in consolidating financial commitments to just a handful of truly trusted, and trustworthy, business partners. Here's looking forward to bringing together all other future loans and financial services as AFCU's portfolio continues to grow!

The most antiquated repayment system for a banking institution on the online era. My car loan is serviced here and three times now I have had issues with my payments not posted on time or not posted at all. Unlike other banks if you want to make your payments online Austin FCU has no option for it on their site. Instead you are redirected to an outside page where your payment informations has to be entered manually every time you need to do a payment. There is a fee if using a debit card and only free option is using a checking account. If you have choice pick another bank for a car loan it is very inconvenient to have so many issues to repay a loan for which they conveniently charge daily interest.

    Response from the owner

Hi Jose! I'm sorry you've had issues with our payment portal and appreciate you taking the time to let us know about them. We do have other payment options available, someone from our team will be reaching out to discuss. Have a great day!

This Kasasa company they are in bed with is collecting any and all data possible on the members. Biometrics for facial recognition, audio for directed ads, finger prints,.... Everyone should venture to the Kasasa sight and read the privacy policy. This credit union is ran like Facebook, and google. Free for you to use because you aren't really the customer, you are the product. This is why you get insurance solicitation all the time. Kasasa is hired by them to provide you. Do not trust this establishment. They are only after money, and they will do anything to get it.

Today, the level of immaturity was astonishing when dealing with teller #49 at 10:21am. I was there for a deposit, company account. After she finished, had the nerve to scold me. "For future reference, you need to come during the week. On Saturdays, we only have one teller. I know we told you before not to go through the drive through but our lobby is closed. You are holding up the line for other people." With an attitude behind it, at that. Like I'm some child in trouble. So this girl holds up the line MORE by fussing plus interrupts my response. No matter I let her get out all of the word vomit she was expelling. I'll have my say here, since she would not let me talk. Considering the two cars behind me, didn't press the issue. That was the ONLY reason. It is not my concern how many tellers there are. If I want to come on Saturdays then that's when I will be there. [I've been banned.😆I like the other location better, anyway. I have also never wrote my real last four digits. 😝] Plus, no one told me not to go through the drive-thru. The last incident a while back had multiple transactions, according to intake day. They had a problem with that so I was gracious enough to include all on one deposit slip. Better be glad I prefer it all on one slip or I'd start splitting it up again. Must be noted in the file if this hag is recalling something from a year ago.

Nobody answers the phone. I am with Seattle CU, and they're awesome. They mentioned these guys as a "sister" branch. I will make sure Seattle CU removes them from being mentioned, as they are useless to anyone out of state.

I Just got an account (by mistake I thought I was at United heritage) less than one week ago. My very first attempt at a purchase thru a reputable website based in China and I was told they only occasionally make exceptions to make overseas purchases and only if I gave them a reason, told them the website name, the country that the website is based in and what I was buying.. I was then informed that I would have to call and make a request EVERYTIME, even if it is the same website, and even then they would only allow it ever so often. I am self employed I sell hair accessories so this is unacceptable and she actually told me if I don’t like this bank I could just go to United Heritage on Manchaca. I Went thru the drive thru to deposit money, but United Heritage rents the drive thru from them and I was informed I was at the wrong window, I had waited in the wrong line. Now, per their website, Austin Fcu will only offer drive thru on Saturdays. Then I Tried to link my card to Venmo with no luck. Tried to access online account, I have been locked out since and will have to call to gain access. -only one bank -drive thru window on Saturdays only -must call for EVERY overseas purchase everytime, even if it is the same website. -rude staff -no App -poor website access

I have been disappointed in this branch many times. I have an account with UHCU which also has office space at this Austin FCU location. I need a notary for a witness statement for a DWI accident that I witnessed and they wanted to charge for it. I have an account, and they want to charge. Particularly disappointed, and whenever I’m here making deposits or withdrawals in the bank or drive through, the staff never really seems very good either.

    Response from the owner

Hi Nicholas, I am very sorry to hear you have been disappointed with UHCU’s services through our Drive Thru. They lease space from us, so you are dealing with a UHCU teller anytime you come to complete a transaction in at our location. We would invite you to direct feedback about that experience directly to United Heritage. Since UHCU account holders do not have accounts with Austin FCU, they are subject to our notary fee of $6 for non-members. If you visit a UHCU branch I am sure they would be able to notarize for free. Please feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have any direct concerns regarding Austin FCU. Thank you.

Usually very rude staff. The first visit they didnt have an inside atm. Im disabled so a teller was helping me walk outside to the atm. Her boss came out yelling at her to leave me alone to get back to her desk. This is a "shared" location with my real CU. However, they dont honor any of my perks and charge me fees for everything. In fact just recently I asked the teller to change a pocket of change for THREE QUARTERS. Let me repeat that THREE QUARTERS. Even though I was depositng a check she said no because I wasnt a real customer. Their website says their lobby is open on Saturdays from 9-2. However the phone line says the lobby is only open on the first Saturday of the month. I've brought this to their attention a year ago but they still haven't corrected it. Until next month I will continue to travel 13 miles out of my way
