America's Credit Union E Bennett St, Springfield

Since ACU merged with another credit union I find the service very poor. The lobby is still closed due to the pandemic. I can no longer access anyone by phone. I'm retired and live about 15 miles away so do a lot of my business over the phone. But apparently that is no longer an option. After about 20 years of being a credit union member iam seriously ready to move my account to another bank UPDATE: Everything seems to be much better now with my account. Really have no complaints. The service has been great so far. Everything is automated - but that is everywhere now with everything!! Gone are the days of personal service

Great bank but terrible return process for checks linked to your savings. Closed my account and have waited two months for my savings check

My credit card was deactivated as a result of shopping online from a Canadian company. No text message or phone call from this credit union to validate the purchase. 3 days later, this same card was declined ar a local gas station. Now I (the customer) have to wait for a specific person to approve the reactivation of this card. Meanwhile I have a useless card as punishment for trying to use MY card. That original purchase from the Canadian company was attempted with a different credit union card. They texted me within 3 minutes and approved my purchase. That's how it should work! Thank you CU Credit Union! Excelent customer service.

I've been a member for over 20 years and I'm closing my accounts. The change was not for the better.

ATM USERS SHOULD KNOW THAT THIS CU OWNER IS CHARGING USER FEES OF $3 FOR ANY WITHDRAWAL!!! EVEN IF YOUR BANK LISTED THIS CU AS "FREE ATM"!!!!

They're not professional at all !! I only bank there because it's close to my work

They are wonderful, small, and close-knit. They will definitely take care of you as a customer!
