Wells Fargo Bank E Main St, Dahlonega

I had gotten an overdraft fee for a charge that was fraudulent I called the 1-800 number to file a claim but they were terrible and didn’t not help me at all. I ended up hanging up on them and just going to the branch. I went into the branch and explained what had happened and how upset I was the teller told me they could take care of my issues for me but I would need to sit with a banker. I sat down with Christine and she called down to the back office for me and handled the it smoothly and got my claim made with no issues, she told me she would talk to her manager about the overdraft fee. Her manager came out and introduced herself to me and let me know she got the fee reversed and if I ever needed anything to just come back and see them. I will definitely be going back to this branch for any of my concerns.

For the past three years, I have regularly gone into this Dahlonega, GA Branch to purchase a money order. (Maybe monthly) Last week, Barbara who has waited on me MANY times said she needed two IDs if I did not have a debit card! Duhhh! Not everyone uses a debit card!! I told her I had never given more than my DL and no one had ever asked me for two IDs including her. Wells Fargo needs to concentrate on better customer service instead of giving energy to opening fake accounts. As soon as we cancel our direct deposits, we will leave this NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTED bank!

Want to charge me to cash a check from their bank. If you have a Wells Fargo check you want to give me I will charge a fee to take it.

Deposited money today at this location and they asked me for my Social Security Number after I already accessed my checking account with my debit card. I asked why they needed my SSN and they told me because of the amount of cash I was depositing. I asked for more detailed information and they told me they could not disclose the information on why. What a terrible bank and terrible employee. What’s it coming to when you have to give personal information but can’t get a reason why!?! Something needs to change!

I am happy with Wells Fargo, especially this branch. I have never had a bad experience here or anywhere else. The employees are always so friendly and helpful.

The staff is friendly and wait times for a banker are not long. My only complaints are with Wells Fargo as a company and nothing against this particular branch. But they lose one star for their lack of a drive through ATM, very inconvenient.

The employees are kind, patient, and knowledgeable, I havent had an issue in the 3 years that I have used this bank.

Online Customer Service is the worst. They take your money. Online it can say your balance is one thing but by the next morning it's not that balance anymore even if you didn't spend anything. Their information is NEVER correct. This bank is a joke and I advise people to stay away!!!

I always get the best service at this location. Everyone is always willing to help and they seem happy to be there. I highly recommend this branch!

All around from the tellers, bankers and the management team they are always very professional and always a happy to help when I need it. They are my go to location and they always remember me.
