Worst bank! No control over customers! No one greeted me when I came in. When I asked for assistance to open a new account, they just told me to have a seat; 30 minutes later, I asked for assistance again, and they said to me that only if they had a chance to help me, they would do it. Saturdays are crazy. They are supposed to have someone advising customers or setting up expectations when customers come through the door. I count five people that wanted to open a new account, 4 of us left. It's a good thing someone that wanted to open an account that left as well told me that your competition is giving a bonus of $250 to open a new account.

After standing in line to find out if I can transfer money into my Sister account, I was misinformed by teller, she informed me that I can write a check to him and deposit in his account, but failed to tell me that he has to have an account at Wells Fargo. She said that only a banker can do it, so I came back the next day to see a banker, the banker gave me the checks but informed me that I did not need to see a banker that I can have it done through the teller, so I get back in line only for the same teller to tell me that I have to go to my Sisters bank in order to make the transfer. So now I was back to square 1. Well after knowing that I would have to drive 30 minutes to get to my sister bank, I figured I would just use cash app, it saved me time and money. My whole point is they should give everyone the full story, it would save people a lot time and less stress.

This bank is by far one of the best in my opinion. And trust me I've been to a lot including regions, SunTrust, first Tennessee, bank of Bartlett, first south, 3 credit unions, bank of America, and one more as well. First off most banks dont have anyone wanting to help you do anything aside from making a checking account and having money in there. Otherwise they couldn't care less. Wells Fargo on the other hand not only kindly welcomed me and my grandma but also helped us setup credit card accounts, get interest on cash, have no minimum requirements, no fees, overdraft protection and also a free overdraft the first time, they also take your side against ANY other credit card, company, anyone they will take up for you. If you have automatic payments for a credit card and tell wells fargo you didnt want to pay them and the payment was within 2 days they immediately refund you and charge the credit card company. No matter what you sign or who it is aside from the government they will always take your side in any matter. And they dont make you have to call the company. When I was at regions they not only let chase take out a payment that I didnt authorize but they always heard the other companies side and more often than not took up for them. Or they would tell you to call the company. As a bank they claimed they couldnt. So yes I've lost money, been treated terrible, been forced to have my money sitting in an account unless its closed due to a minimum balance. So when wells fargo had 5 different bankers help me now I loved them all. Also dont go to wells Fargo if you aren't able to spend and deposit money, Or dont expect all stuff. IF your serious they will always help but you have to be mutually beneficial and be aware of that so you dont have a bad experience. Also the banker who opened my account called my credit card with me there and got a charge taken off and told them they were on speaker and refused to turn it off even when asked to that's how shady they were and wells fargo was like we got this.They allow for atm withdrawals anywhere anytime. They work with cash app and other online places, in the daytime they always have 2 lines open and one just for atm. They accept checks online. But really it's not convenient at all for anyone single person to write checks anymore. Digital payments, payments by phone, etc. Are all easier. Wells fargo does require you to either own multiple accounts, have enough deposited, use your debit card enough, or setup enough automatic payments to make your account free each month. I have 4 accounts so it's easy. Also I make enough purchases with my card as well. They offer financing, loans, credit cards, checking, savings, and other retirement as well as investing accounts. Also you can refer people! Best bank ever!

Had the worst experience with getting assistance at this bank. We had an appointment to speak with someone about opening a business account. First mistake from them, they never had our appointment scheduled but yet we received a confirmation email for the date and time. Next, we present ALL the paperwork needed to start the account ( 2 forms of ID, Articles of Organization, EIN, Operating Agreement and deposit). They turned around and told us that we need to have our name, not the company name, on the AOO. Then they say we need a address of the business and it needs to be a building. First of all, the paperwork was filed in TN as with the location of the business. I told them that the state of TN doesn't require the manager name to be listed on the Articles. I also told them that the address was indeed an actual building and that I retrieve mail from this location and that it is not a P.O box. They refused to look at my additional paperwork to show that we were in fact the owners. Instead, they decide to send us on a wild goose chase to get unnecessary signatures. I guess we were the wrong color to ask for business in their establishment. I called the secretary of the state of TN and they assured me that I have all that I needed to obtain a business account. Wells Fargo should be ashamed of themselves. But I like to thank you for being complete jerks to me. You have allowed me to seek business elsewhere. I will be sure to pass along to avoid your establishment if possible.

Today I rate Wells Fargo a three (3) because of the lack of service received. I called the bank to speak with someone about fraudulent charges, on a cancelled debit card. I had the card cancelled approximately 2.5 weeks ago, updated my account information and ordered checks. Today I logged onto my account from my phone to check my balance and pay bills, and discovered that a $253.55 charge had been placed against my account on December 14, 2020. I called to speak with a banker regarding these fraudulent charges being levelled against my account. I explained to the banker what had transpired and inquired about the person(s) or company who had levelled the charges. He asked me for the cancellation information, but he also said something strange too, "if you did not cancel the card with the company they can still charge your account." He didn't really tell me the name but my guess is that it was Viasat, a company I had internet service through. The services were cancelled on November 12 2020. The representative I was speaking with asked me to give him the cancellation information and I asked him to hold on while I obtained that information, which is when we got disconnected. I called back and was transferred every where except to a representative. I became frustrated with all the various people I spoke with trying to get back to the representative and hung up. The number for the cancellation is 306942650 (I have a cancellation email with the necessary information). I cancelled the card because I don't trust them and I didn't want them trying anything under handed. First, I would like to know how a company can charge an individual's account even after services have been cancelled and get away with it? They knew the account was closed and they have received their equipment back. But most of all why would Wells Fargo submit payment on a closed debit card? I stressed this very factor with the young lady who assisted me that Saturday and she said it would be noted. I would like to have my money restored to my account and also have that card number put on alert so that further action cannot be taken against my account. Someone tried to steal the ATM and I guess that its not important to have one at this branch since THEY NEVER REPLACED IT and its been months!

Worst place to bank to go to. I live in Nashville and every Wells Fargo in Nashville that I have been to was professional and nice. Very welcoming but soon I get to Memphis at this location on appling, teller laying at customers and unprofessional with attitude. Branch manager asswholes.

On April 27, 2018. I made a deposit of 204.00 at the drive thur only 127.00 was deposited. I entered the bank immediately and requested the cameras to be reviewed. My money was not returned and I was asked by branch manager to leave. I reported the problem to corporate office NO HELP. Two months later after threatening to sue and/or social media the money was put in my account. The issue caused me all kinds of money issues. The district manager NEVER returned my phone calls and I was told she didn’t know if the issues. Branch manager, teller and district manager she be replaced. If someone robbed or attempted to rob the bank they would have camera footage, employees for witnesses and person or people arrested and charged. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!
