Overall I'd like to give this location a good review. However the last 4 or 5 times I've been there I've gotten stuck with the same teller. She's slow, apparently doesn't know what she's doing and has to ask everyone else what to do, and asks me invasive questions in order to cash my checks like where I'm employed, what I make for income, what my job title is, how long I've been employed there, my SSN, how long I've lived at my current address etc. No one else at this bank or any other bank does this and I've cashed checks with other tellers since she's cashed mine and haven't been asked such things despite her claims that these questions are required

I’ve been waiting here for 30 minutes now. 4 people who I was ahead have been helped before me. Very frustrating! Wells Fargo can you please look into this branch! Absolutely ridiculous! I’ve never gone through the drive through for banking so I did not know I could hit the call button for help. However, nothing was explained to me so I just sat there as they helped every one else. May want to get your staff up to date on procedures to get things moving faster!

I've been a Wells Fargo client since 1998. House loans. Car loans. Private Loans. Business Loans. Checking Accounts. Savings Accounts. Business Accounts. I don't feel like they owe me anything...I know how it works (they only care about your money)...but the LEAST they could do is provide semi-mediocre service. I walk into the Buffalo branch at 2:15PM today. There are five tellers (only one of them helping someone), two managers in the adjacent office (neither with a client) and three "bankers" at desks (none of them with clients). I ask if someone can help me set up a Teen Checking Account. I have all the necessary documents...literally everything I need. Their response: "You need to make an appointment online." I assume that means I can get right in today, I mean LITERALLY NO ONE is doing anything. Nope. "One to two weeks," they tell me. HOW DO THESE PEOPLE HAVE JOBS? Wells Fargo is an embarrassment to banks everywhere. Time to find somewhere else to keep my money.

Wait times here are horrible, whether you're going into the lobby, or using the drive-up window.... Tellers don't seem to be in any sort of a hurry to speed things up. I was just there, and there was a line in the lobby out to the doors. 2 tellers working, while one went to the break room to take a break. Manager sitting in his office surfing on his phone. Wow, what a joke. I make daily deposits for my company over at Old National and never have to wait. Both inside and the drive-up is very fast. I'm thinking maybe it's time to move my personal accounts over there as well.

I used to be able to go into any Wells Fargo branch and process wire transfers fairly quickly. I've been doing this weekly for years. However, it seems as though this branch has changed their policy. I can no longer just walk in and process a wire transfer, I have been told that appointments are now required. As a small business owner, my day is challenging enough. Having to schedule a time and arrange my work day to make a simple wire transfer seems ridiculous. Oddly, when I do come into the branch, there are at least two employees standing in the lobby doing nothing. One greets customers as they come into the door and then points them towards an open teller, as if it's not obvious that the teller is open. The other one just stands around observing. This seems like an incredible waste of resources, especially when I, the customer who is about to pay $45 for a wire transfer has been told that since I did not make an appointment, it may take half an hour or more before I may see a banker. I was just told that perhaps I should make an appointment and come back later, like I really have time for that. Wells Fargo, you need to be more customer-centric.

First time I came in here for a name change I was made to feel like less of a person for having gone through a divorce. They needed my divorce decree to change my name. Cool no problem. Got nothing but judgement from that. Then instead of just photo copying the one or two pages that contained the name change info, they made a copy of all 40 some pages of the entire thing which i wasn’t comfortable with as it contains personal information. Then today I come in to get something notarized they say it’s a 20 minute wait totally fine I have patience. I’m then helped and they look at my paperwork see I need two witnesses present and say they can help but no one is available to witness. I look around there are four desks of people just sitting there staring at computers not doing anything. They couldn’t take two seconds to witness me signing my name? So they say I’m out of luck and have to make an appointment to come back. So you’re going to schedule a block of time for three people for my appointment? I will seriously never come back to this Wells Fargo.

There’s nothing about Wells Fargo that I like. If I could have rated them a zero I would’ve done that. I have had multiple issues with them when it comes to depositing checks. Mixups on their end that end up costing me time and money. I have never been able to contact their local office and get through to anyone when I called the phone number listed on their website. I always end up being connected to their corporate office and then it takes filing a dispute and 10 days to get any resolution on anything. If you have any other options, choose a different bank. Once you get connected to Wells Fargo it’s very hard to get out of there web.

I read through many of the bad review as i was surprised to see them with the consistently friendly service i receive each time i go in. Mostly people are up set over wt time or a policy. "i was told i needed to make an appointment" "we got there at closing time" "i needed to be on the account"... The service here is great, the complaints are predominantly a result of "my time / my needs are way more important than yours".

I witnessed poor customer service as a male employee/greeter belittled an elderly woman who came to exchange a $20 for smaller bills. The woman was upset because the teller made her get out her debit card to show she was a customer and enter her pin. The lady stormed out of the bank, she seemed more mad after he was talking down to her, and then the male employee went to the teller line to make fun of the lady for a bit before coming over to me to see if I "had any exciting plans after I left the bank." Ugh I hate when the WF employees ask you what you are doing later, it's so weird to tell a complete stranger any information like that.

We contacted Sandy Anderson at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage to refinance our house. This was not a typical home refinance. Sandy Anderson was amazing! She was very patient and took the time to explain all our options. She basically held our hand through the entire process. Sandy is friendly and professional, we would definitely use her again in the future.
