    What can I say! Like I said in my last review of Mariano, he was the person to go to when you had any questions or concerns or just needed things explained. He made the process seemless and painless for myself and my family. He made himself available 24 hours a day 7 days a week which is more than what he needed to provide. Going above and beyond for his customers is not something he chooses to do, it is something in his character which comes naturally to him. That level of passion and commitment to customer service can not be taken for granted and me and family knew we had the right person on our team. He did not just impress me once again but he continues to bring a great reputation to veterans United as a whole. My family members are surprised and jealous of the level of dedication that Mariano and his team are able to provide. They do not get the same level of attention from their lenders or loan officers and it baffles them.     Overall transaction went very fast. I did not fell any stress. They are customer oriented, the are very knowledgeable, and most important they know what they are doing. They did not require too many documentations. They are honest and whatever was discussed on your interest rate was exactly what you get on paper. Any minor changes they always send you a copy to sign. Highly recommended. Will deal business with them again.

    My overall experience with VU has been great. I was pre-approved even with forced bankruptcy less than 4 years ago, due to military disabilities. The loan process went smoothly, the team was very patient with me despite focusing on health issues and doctor appointments, and were very cheerful and helpful. I am disappointed that after only few weeks of closing, my loan was already sold to another lender. Hmmm...Few questions ran through my mind regarding this. I would recommend asking your loan officer about this.

    We weren’t sure if this would even happen! My goal was at 30 to own a home. Veterans united along with our realtor made that possible for me at 27! We are both dual military and ofcourse had some financial hiccups in the past. Although we were able to have it figure out by the time we applied, Veterans United made it possible when we thought we weren’t ready! We got preapproved right away and started our journey! Everyone was informative and hardworking the whole way through. Things moved fast once we found the right house for us! Also a big surprise they made us feel like family! They gave us some perks that can come handy in the future. Offering us any service they have to us at any time. Again thank you for everything my family of 4 is very ecstatic to have done this step with VU. We can’t wait to move in and create memories!

    Caleb was great, I gave him a last minute call after we had found our perfect home and he expedited the process for a quick turn around and an approved VA loan. He quickly answered all questions we had and had all documents ready in no time. Veterans United is the way to go!!!

    Communication started out good, than it just died. Missed the closing deadline, and still didn't hear from them about it.. I had to call and find out what was going on. When I did, they tell me I was missing items on the todo list,, but they were all emailed to the "agent" in charge a month before...On initial paperwork process they tell me it's gonna work out having 2 items paid off with closing costs as part of the refi. With credits given to me because of my score. Than on closing paperwork they have items completely different, items that I hadn't asked for. Than, they want to charge closing costs... over all experience, don't use them.. if you're ok with waiting process for VA claims than I say go for it, because it similar to that nightmare. Thanks for wasting my time VU. Truly thanks for nothing

    I am helping my Dad a Vietnam Veteran purchase his very 1st home. I emailed Schuyler Smith back and forth for over a month trying to get my Dads credit score up to 640 which is your particular Lenders approval past the 620 score that his is. May 12th 2020 to June 8th, 2020 we went back and forth through email and phone calls. Not even a full month had passed. I do not think that is a very long time to get this done but we did everything they requested. We paid debts 100% off and paid down credit items below the 50% mark all within a few weeks. Pulling from savings etc. We spent A LOT OF TIME and effort to do as they requested. June 8th Schuyler Smith sent my Dad a denial letter in the mail. No email, no phone call. Very confusing. I do not understand why after weeks of emails and phone calls he never let us know we would be receiving a denial letter and why after we completed all tasks requested!?? We emailed him twice with no reply back & then all of a sudden a denial letter!?? It is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL and wasted our time when we could’ve been trying to contact other Lenders vs spend all of our time waiting around for nothing. My Dad is a Veteran who just went through his 4th heart surgery with a pace maker installed this last time so it’s really sad that this Lender says in their name “Veterans United,” but within 30 days discarded a Veteran with 30 days wasted and letter as if he was just a task on their checklist. Veteran let down.
