First off, my review is not based on going to this location in-person. I actually use all the services that I can to avoid going to the bank. I prefer to do all that I can without having to go to a location. But the few times that I have gone to this bank, I went to the location in Raley's at Paradise Valley and never had any issues with customer service. I admit I was not a fan of the transition as it was difficult and my family also banking here, had issues as well. I called and was able to get assistance. Now, I love the expanded offerings, services, and what Valley Strong has done to make this a competitive bank. I banked here in the days of CMT and then Solano First. I didn't give up when Solano First became a terrible bank. I'm hoping for all the trouble the Union Ave location has, that maybe they revamp the staff to increase the customer service. The ATM machines also go down/offline a bit too often -- just upgrade to better machines!
Thank you for your review and we appreciate the thorough feedback. We will share this with the Branch Team to let them know how we are doing.

I am being super generous with 3 stars. It takes forever waiting in line. You will be lucky to have 2 tellers working at a time. Even during peak times. I have had to walk out and return later several times. I've been with this institution for over 30 years. Might be time for a change!!!

I had a child's account with Solano First where upon turning 18, they sipped off $15/month without warning me. In order to avoid this, I had to have a job with direct deposit or X amount in the bank. WELL thanks for taking what little I had as an adult! Being in college, having this bank shut down it's branch in my hometown, and not having a vehicle all made it difficult to work and school and deal with this bank. They are not family friendly. When Valley Strong took over, they made it difficult to log in online and now instead of being able to call a franchise bank directly, I have to call a toll line and wait forever to get help. "You can call 7 days a week from 7-7" but no one answers! How is that helpful???? Then I get help but the lady sounds so inexperienced. I had to call because the security process of sending a code to my number or email did not work. This lady apparently couldn't figure it out either. I gave my SSN number. She hung up or disconnected, but no call backs so I'm leaning towards hang up. It used to be, you can call the bank directly but now we are routed to the same corporate line. So much for local banking.

Deposited 1800 machine had technical issues . Now I'm in my car calling service. Wow I'm not sure if they going to refund me ? I'm getting tired of this bank. I have no money left and no gas

I've been banking with Solano First (formerly CMT) credit union since 1970. These guys are the best. Honest, knowledgible, customer-oriented, are a few descriptors that come to mind. Many years ago they helped me work through a financial rough patch I was experiencing. Their sound financial advice and assistance, as well as genuine encouragement, helped me to turn things around. At a time when it is easy to get lost in the world of the financial conglomerates that don't know, or care to know who you are, it's refreshing and reassuring to be able to deal with people who seem to have your best interests at heart.

I give this place 1 star simply because I cannot give less. Customer service is the worst ever. You sit and wait to see an account yep only to be told after 20mins that they will be with you in a moment but then pass you off to someone else. You are not even issued a debit card upon opening an account; you have to wait 7-10 days, which I don't understand. Not only is this from the stone age but I received 2 other things in the mail from them. My top question upon opening the account was the use of mobile banking; I was told this was included but found out when attempting to do, it is NOT part of the account, you have to wait a year to get that function. Lastly, you fork over $50 to open the account and ate returned $20!!!! Yes TWO-ZERO when you close the account. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. STAY AWAY, STAY FAR, FAR, FAR AWAY!!!!

I have been a Solano First member since the 1980's and they have always been the best when it comes to member services. Any credit union or bank can take your money but when you have any type of issues Solano First is the best.
