I have been a member for a few years now. I have car loan and credit card with them. I don't like the fact that I cannot go into a branch without wearing a mask. The irony is they argue with me about wearing a mask and yet they don't wear it properly. I was being scolded for no mask while a teller was not practicing social distance with another co-worker while her nose was hanging out of her mask. If they have a mask and are standing behind a glass window then why are you complaining I am not wearing a mask? They will refuse business if you don't wear a mask!

Worst experience i have an with an auto loan. Whole customer service team was incompetent, unhelpful, rude, and inconsistent.

First the good: after having trouble getting ahold of someone at the 8200 number, I finally got on the line with someone. He was very helpful and understanding. It only took about 15 minutes for someone from the branch to call me back to get my lost debit replaced. The person who got me set up was nice and got it replaced on the spot! Thank goodness. The rest: I agree with the reviews about the long car lines. Granted, it's a Saturday and they are only open til 2pm. There was only one person taking people with appointments and one person at the drive thru. Having worked at a drive thru at McDonald's, it's stressful, especially seeing a line of cars. I empathize with the people having to work in a Saturday to get people what they need and people who have to wait a while to get their things taken care of with time constraints. It's definitely something that could be improved.

I would not give any rating at all but I had to give you a one, I can not wait until I get rid of this credit union, they are very unhelpful, rude, do not bank with these people

Have been a member at this brach since it opened and have had no problem with any transaction I have made here. Since the pandemic the drive thru can be somewhat time consuming and the way it was designed is a bit tight but it isn't the people who work here fault, they didn't design the place. Some people who bank here come and do more then one transaction that slows up the line also, plus if you can't go inside a place that alone makes things move slow. Keep doing the best you can u of m credit Union workers, you can't satisfy everyone.

They launched a new online banking app which made every single member have to re-enroll in order to gain access to there accounts. They provided no way of doing this except for phone numbers that don't work. At the drive thru tellers the lines everyday are blocking the road because they are so long and it isn't possible to make an appointment. There were no prior warnings that this was going to take place.

White Female employee was unnecessarily and exceptionally rude and condescending. I unfortunately did not get her name, but will make a point to get her name to add to this review at a later date. She went out of her way to be rude when another employee was assisting me with my business. There was absolutely no reason for this rude woman to speak 2 words to me, but she felt it necessary to address me clarifying whether I had followed to 'rules' to enter the Credit Union lobby. I took the high road and did not cause a scene as it was very warranted by her behavior. I've never had a bad experience at the Credit Union before this past Saturday. Hopefully her behavior will be addressed and customers won't have to experience her inability to be professional. Ann Arbor, Mi., Carpenter Rd. branch.

Every time I have entered a branch they are clean and tidy. Friendly appearing. However, they lack communication and the same level of "customer service" anywhere else. On the phone or online they are extremely rude and will most likely hang up on you or end chat sessions out of nowhere. Specifically, they never informed me that they were changing the entire online banking system and therefore I lost my username access. To make matters worse you cannot re-register without knowing your Account Numbers in their entirety. So, when I tried to call the Ann Arbor Branch - an hour prior to closing - I was hung up on multiple times. This occurred until after closing time. Therefore, I cannot call the branch, customer service, or access online banking until Monday. Unprofessional and very unwilling to help! Limited hours and locations. If you can take business elsewhere I would. Thought since this is affiliated with my Alma Mater it would be better managed.

terrible customer service. i asked for two extremely simple documents containing my balance & transactions to be emailed to me, the woman never even sent me the documents.. so then i had to drive there to get them.. god forbid she did her job & sent me two of the easiest things i could’ve asked for? also- asked about receiving a credit boost (as i’m getting ready to move), and the woman on the phone literally said, “you have enough funds, you don’t need that.” who says that to a customer?? and how is that any of her concern or business? what a strange & bad interaction.
