Hey! Do you enjoy having your money readily available? Do you value good customer service? If so, steer clear of this bank! I recently opened an account with them and deposited a payroll check only to find out the funds are being held up for nine days! Completely unacceptable for me as I have a car payment due this week!! So as any person would, I went into the branch to discuss this with them. I was rudely told the check was on hold and to call customer service to find out why. I called and after 10 minutes I got someone on to address my concerns. He transferred me to the fraud department. From there I was told that there is a 30 day grace period in which all checks are to be put on hold and that I signed an agreement stating this. Now this comes back to the original banker I opened the account with. In his utter lack of understanding of his product he stated there would be a 24 hour hold on checks-that I can deal with. Back to the conversation with the fraud department, as the representative continues to gas-light my situation again stating that I signed the document I asked to speak to someone higher up. She went in a round about automatic loop saying the issue was basically my fault and that she was the end of the line. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any bank, I would not recommend banking here. Especially the Garden of the Gods location. I will now be late on my car payment, thus affecting my credit thanks for that US bank!! TLDR: Instead of being punished for being a new customer, go to a bank that values the importance of their customers having funds available to afford their basic necessities. Update: calling the line to discuss this with a manager and he has been in a meeting for the last three hours. 🤣 What a joke of an organization, can’t even handle customer escalations properly. I’ll be posting this to every review site I possible can until I get this resolved.

Quoted me 3.1% interest, but when I signed everything. I noticed a few months later it was half a percentage higher than what they told me it was going to be. They conned me out of a few grand so pay very close attention when doing buisness with a bank. They mascarade around as a friendly neighborhood buisnesses, but in reality they have powers normal buisnesses wouldn't dream of. They lend out money that they don't have and charge people interest on it. It is nothing less than modern serfdom

I'm so grateful for the help I get from US Bank! I'm not big money, big house, big anything but they have always treated me like I am! Recently I called for financial advice and talked to Rod Carrillo. I'm kinda on the right track for my future but after talking to him I really understood what choices and decisions I need to be making. Lately, I've been sleeping better at night!! I started with US Bank in Reno, NV (300 S Virginia Street) in 1999. Every time I walked in a teller would yell out my name, "hi Peggy!" As simple as that is, it always made me feel good! Even though I rarely walk into a branch these days, I still get that feeling just talking on the phone!

the Loan Officer Mitchell is an outstanding human being. Not only is he great at his job, he is also very personable and kind-hearted. Everyone else at the branch, although struggling for help, seem to keep smiles on their faces and sometimes that is worth more than getting through a quick line. I would bank here.

US Bank used to provide service & accountability to their customers. When Corporate has failed to do what they said three times in a row on a time specific matter, then to hear your local branch manager say "there's nothing I can do", when she can call corporate to support their local customer and get corporate to do what they promised three times in a row to do, leads me to believe they don't care about their local customer...who has been loyal to them for over 40 years. And looking at all the recent posts, they're not helping a lot of customers for a lot of different reasons. Good luck, Nichole keeping customers with your can't help, oh so sorry for you, attitude. I would never work for a manger like you. If you're looking for a bank, don't choose US.

We've been with US Bank for years and I deposit a check every Friday. I have never been able to get through this branch in less than 20 minutes with only me in the drive-thru and only one person at the counter. We will most likely be needing to take our personal account elsewhere. I don't have 30min to wait around to get a single check deposited!

So I write this review because I am appalled as a United States citizen born in the United States on United States soil. That a bank that would call themselves u.s. Bank is an atrocity I go in there to open a new checking account this is a day before Christmas Eve. There was no one in the bank but me it took over 30 minutes before I even was tended to. They sat there in wasted my time to tell me that is unless you make over $1,000 a month you can't have direct deposit next they tell me that for a basic checking account that I have to hold a minimum $1,500 balance or I will get a service charge and had all these other rules and fees that they want to charge me. So my question is to US Bank where do the poor people Bank because obviously you are very discriminant on the lower class I will back this up anyway this has to go I am tired of financial institutions discriminating against the lower class but you can do it legally and get away with it. I have banked at some of the finest institutions United States has to offer and have never been told about a $1,500 minimum balance I went to a credit union right after that extremely horrible experience opened up a free checking add a credit union$5 minimum balance it also came with overdraft protection and to make things so so nice it came with a free emergency$300 loan from the credit union if you need it on a zero balance. The name of this Credit Union is Ent. In closing I am so upset with the way this money-hungry world has gone and I hope everybody reads this and takes their money to a credit union any credit union but US Bank you guys suck the big donkey.

Me and my Husband have been banking with us bank for years! My husband deposits his checks from work every two weeks in our account. Today for some god awful reason they decided to freeze our account and cant give us a reason of why this has happened. When we have been depositing checks from the same employer for months! My husband went inside the brank on Gardan of the gods and steve the manager was awful rude not helpful or even understanding. we have kids and bills due and no one can answer why this happened! I do not reccomend us Bank we did not feel like they were even understanding when there the ones that froze our account for no reason! Now we have to wait for our money to get fix when its there fault and it can be almost 8-10 days there telling us. Extremely perfesstional!!

Since when should it take an hour to place a sheet of paper in one's safety deposit box. That was my experience. One teller and one banker in the office and a banker was needed to get in. So wait, wait, wait. Turns out the banker's keys didn't work and the manager was called, and where was he during my wait time?. It took him more than a few tries to find a key that worked. All this for a 10 second action.
