This branch has one of the nicest bankers I’ve ever met. Unfortunately nothing was able to be done about the situation that brought me in there, however the banker was so kind. I was very obviously distraught and she was so patient and even asked me if I needed a hug. That type of kindness honestly made my day 1000x better. I hate that I didn’t get her name, but whoever she was .. absolutely amazing customer service!

I've been a BB&T customer for the past 15 years, and this branch easily has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. What started 4 weeks ago as an attempt to replace 2 cards before I return overseas, has resulted in me closing my account.

The worse branch that I deal with it ever. Whenever I am going to this branch to do a little businesses inside it I will find just one banker in his/her room and the other rooms are empty and at least 4 clients in Q line and it will take from me sometimes 2 hours to get what I need inside this branch. I told the manger about that many times and they did nothing. Really terrible I am planning to close my account and open one with United-bank. They have branch in downtown that is really good and big difference than this one, but unfortunately it is far away from my place.

i was a business owner here in Morgantown and I have been BB&T customers for more than 3 years. beginning of 2017, Karen Gable, market leading of this branch came to my shop to offered me the BB&T merchant services for my business. I already had the merchant service at the time and i was so happy with their services. Karen kept calling and insistently saying that BB&T merchant service is a second largest merchant service provider and she and Kevin Lawson, merchant guy promised me that they will give me the best service and the best price to compete with my current merchant service at the time. I trusted Karen and Kevin because they are presented for BB&T, big local banker. also, because I want to keep the good relationship with my business banker and i find it more convenient since its locally.A few months later, i sold my business to my friend and asked him to keep BB& T merchant for his business. the problem occurred was when my friend did not have enough money to purchase my business. He tried to pay me from his credit cards up to $ 21000 through my terminal. we both have not knowledgeable enough and because i wanted to help my friend out so i agreed to do that for him. BB&T called me for the next day and questioned me about those charged and I told them the purposes of those transactions. BB&T merchant rep told me that was not legitimate and it is against BB&T merchant policy. i apologized for that and asked her what should i do to fix that. she told me to refund those money back to my friend's credit cards and those fund will be released in 24 hours. i did what the rep told me. Now i found out that BB&T charged me up to $602.37 for merchant services. I called Kevin Lawson, merchant guy to ash him why it was so much. Kevin has never answered or returned my phone call. I called Karen Gable, she did the same and I have to took my working time off and drove all the way from Bridgeport to Morgantown to look for Karen at the branch. Karen was being so dishonest by giving me so many different answers after asking me give her a few days to do a research for my only one question??? At first, Karen blamed the charge was because my income coming that month so high, but i sold my shop at the 10th of that month,,, so it was obviously the service charge can't be that much for only 10 days only of the income? and then she turned around and blamed that was a intercharge from visa and master card company, which only 6 cents per transaction and my friend only charged totally 7 of his credit cards to pay me of the amount of $21000 dollars.Finally, Karen blamed that charge is from FRAUD DEPARTMENT????? I talked to Susan, Karen's supervisor and Susan now blamed that charge was because the processing from those transactions of $21000 which WAS ON HELD AND REFUNDED BACK AND NEVER DEPOSITED TO MY ACCOUNT. Later, Susan blamed that charge was from visa and master card company, She even encourage me to call visa, master card company to find out myself??? so frustrated and confusing i called BB&T corporation to seek for the true answer. Russom Chuck is the one I talked to had someone at merchant department called me a few days later and gave me the finally answer is BB&T MERCHANT SERVICE CHARGED ME AT $602.37 FOR PROCESSING THESE TRANS ACTONS OF $21000 DOLLARS EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE REFUNDED AND NEVER DEPOSITED TO MY ACCOUNT???? AND BECAUSE MY ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED AND I AM NO LONGER THEIR CUSTOMER AND THEY CAN NOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP ME???? this is a RIPPED OFF for me from my local banker. I think they try to take advantage on my mistake and try to ripped my hard working off and they don't care because they even said so that i am now no longer with them. i am not a complainer but this is a huge disappointment on what they did to me. So sorry for my long post and for my English but i wanted to share my bad experience with BB&T banker for all the business owners out there in Morgantown and Sincerest area to be aware and STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANKER. Thanks you so much for your times.

If I had the ability to give 0 stars, I would. This bank is AWFUL. They are crooks. They charge fraudulent overdraft fees, and conveniently only certain items hit in the order BB&T wishes so that you are charged an overdraft. Then, when confronted about it, they have no actual answers and instead tell you "there's nothing we can do". This is criminal!

I Have Never Had A Bad Experience @ This Branch. It's Where I Opened My Account, And The Only One I Really Ever Go To. I've Had A Couple Problems Along The Way Hence The 3 Stars. Aside From What I'd Call "Shady" Over Draft Fee Procedures, This Bank And Branch Is All That And Then Some. By Shady Procedures, I Mean That The Site Clearly Says As Well As The APP Does That All Purchases Remain "PENDING" For 72 Hours Before Posting. Meaning If You Overdraw But Get Money In To Cover It Before It Closes You Don't Get Hit With A Fee Because Until It Closes, There's A Chance The Charge Could Fall Off Totally. Any Time That I Have Made A Mistake And Overdrawn By A Few Cents Or A Couple Dollars Somehow "EVERYTHING" That Was Pending Closes Well Before The 72 Hour Window Closes.............. Nobody Can Explain This... .When Confronted Customer Service Went Crickets............ So There's That... But Overdrawing Is On Me Anyways It's Just A Little Shady How They Do That, And It's Clearly On Purpose. Other Than That I'm A Happy Satisfied Customer.....
