Shannon was just so great! I had a quick question and I called our normal branch and no answer several times, called over to this one and Shannon answered the phone and my questions right away. You could hear her smile and her good attitude over the phone. Glad I caught her when I did!

Wow! Before I read the reviews, I thought I was the only one that had a bad experience here! This happened last year, but I opened a new acct at the Suntrust in downtown Raleigh. A few months later (in Aug 2017) I go inside the Cameron Village location to make a payment since this location was closer to my job. I wrote the check in a hurry because I was on my lunch break so I made a mistake and wrote the year wrong. This teller (brunette about 30-40 years old) slams the check back on the counter, smirks, and yells the "the year is wrong" like I was purposefully trying to commit fraud (I guess b/c I didn't look like I was from that part if town, which is stupid b/c there is a Uni nearby). I don't mind her catching mistakes as that is her job, but she was very condescending and was trying to be loud to get the attention of her coworkers and the one other customer who was there. I won't be back b/c I make an honest living and I work too hard to be treated like a con artist. My acct that I know she pulled up should have shown that I was an active customer, always made my payments on time, and NEVER had a history of bounced or fraudulent checks. So, I don't know why she thought she was being a hero. Whatever. I only use the Fayetteville St./Downtown branch and the online banking app now.

Absolutely callous and indifferent to my 19 year old son that went to open a student account and they refused to accept him as a customer. He's had an account several years at another bank, no issues, never any overdrafts etc., a junior in college with 4.0 gpa, very responsible and about to start pt work as a ft student. Simple solution - go somewhere else; he found another bank within walking distance of this one that actually cares! Also noticed a 4/18/18 post (6 days ago) that there's a job opening at SunTrust Cameron Village for a new branch manager.

I gave it 1 star because I can't give a negative rating. The way I was dealt with by the manager in Aug 2018 is grounds for a lawsuit. She is not worthy to mop the floors, much less be in charge of an "institution of trust".

This branch used to have some issues but the bankers they have now have given me excellent service. I hope this group stays around a while.

I have been waiting in line for the last 30 min there 2 lanes but only 1 working customer behind me have left and it seem like there’s a problem with a transaction so I feel like there very slow

Everyone has been so helpful and kind. I have been banking here for year and they always go above and beyond.

by far the worst bank ,worst employees, manger is pure hateful. They are crooks. I'm not just venting read the reviews.

This branch is the WORST. The staff is the opposite of helpful and the manager is terrible.
