When this bank was Suntrust, customers experienced friendly , professional, personal service. As a long time Customer I recognized changes being made with their merge to become Truist. They now , create and apply overdraft charges, and they provide no customer support in disputing those charges, not online or on the phone,,,,ironically I just saw this same type of charges made public on the news, by Clarke Howard,

I have been a customer with SunTrust for years and have always been satisfied with my experience there, but recently I encountered a problem at this specific location. The tellers were unprofessional, and seemed clueless and unorganized. I had to make a trip there 3 times just to complete a simple foreign currency purchase. Only one teller knew how to do it, while the rest of the tellers did not know. I even asked for the teller to put a notice for travel on my account and he could not help me with that. He instead directed me to use the mobile banking app or call. Honestly, I could have completed a foreign currency purchase at any other place, but I chose SunTrust; however, from this experience, I am considering other options in the future.

Please don't use the atm. At all. Was trying to deposit $1000+ and it only deposited $500 and took the rest of what I had in cash (maybe its stuck or jammed I don't know) and now I have to file a claim to get my money. People on the phone were really nice and helpful but please do an appointment for large sums of money. UPDATE: Worked with customer service and filed a claim, i got everything back after a month or two.

This bank refused to cash a BB&T check and violated a court order in the process. I sincerely hope the regional manager who made the decision is compelled to appear in superior court to answer for his/her actions.

I'm having some problems with my business account. My DBA didn't get listed on my account. I went in to get it fixed and the manager Angela was impatient, and argumentative. I'm just trying to get my account updated. This branch has a 2.9 star rating. I can see why. I left her office to go find a branch that can patiently help me with my banking problem. I've been with SunTrust for 15 or more years.

OMG.....This is my third trip to this location. On Saturday I walked into the branch Iris asked what brings me in? I clearly explain what I needed she listed a list of the required documents needed to complete transactions. I told her I had all the required paperwork needed. She ask that I take a seat and she will be with me shortly which was an 1:45 minutes later. Once I got into her office she took copies of the document only to tell me I needed a tax ID. Iris advised she could not move forward until I obtain an Tax ID. Iris requested that I email her the tax ID when I received it. I emailed her this information on on Wednesday Thursday and Friday with no response however I received a read receipts each time. I walk into the bank on today expecting everything to be a go needless to say Iris did not follow though as she said my documents were buried in her paperwork she refused to assist me making me wait another 20 minutes for another banker. I meet with another banker who looks at the paperwork calls back office to make sure paperwork was legit. Back office asked her if she had the originals with the seal which I did not have because copies were made.....Right...not so I had to leave go home pickup the paperwork drive back to the bank wait another 45 minutes I meet with the banker again who sits me in her office for ten minutes while she ask the other waiting in the lobby what they needed. She comes back into her office and tells me Iris is free and she can now assist me and shuffles me back to iris office like a deck of cards....This is by fur one of the worst banking experiences Every!!!!!!

I came in to open a new business checking account, the teller said I dont have anything available today , but you can come back tomorow at noon. There's 5 other banks within 1/2 mile radius that I'm sure would allow me to open a new account when I walk in. This is my first experience dealing with SunTrust and I'm left under the impression that SunTrust is a great 5th option for banking , especially now,after reading the recent reviews left by others who are banking here at this location , being turned away at their doorstep feels like they saved me from dealing with the troubles the rest of their customers are dealing with.

A few employees have been rude on the phone. When you call,they act as if you're bothering them. Mary,in particular,was quite rude to me,over the phone on 2/7/17. Had called her back about an issue,and she hung up on me,when I asked to speak with the manager. It was as if I should have felt her answer was good enough and no escalation needed. She expresses ZERO empathy,ZERO customer service skills. Disgusted with the treatment I've receive at this branch. Been a Suntrust customer for ten years with three of their products,Checking,Savings,and Auto Loan.

Tried to use the drive thru and had several dollars in change along with cash for four different deposits. I did not notice a sign about depositing excess change or I would have just used cash for that instead. I also did not notice i couldn’t do four deposits because it apparently takes too long to process that? There wasn’t a line. Despite all of this, when the drive thru teller came back on the camera to tell me I couldn’t do that and would need to come inside, I felt scolded like a child! Simply tell me it’s too many deposits and kindly ask me to come inside to finish the transaction. So I come inside and someone else helps me. She continues to lecture me again like the other woman had done as if I’m stupid and can’t understand why I needed to come inside! I didn’t appreciate the attitude and this could have been approached in a different way. I was told I was lucky I didn’t get the money stuck in the chute from the weight. I don’t think it was necessary to go through these details. Simply just tell me that when I have excess change and deposits it’s more efficient to come inside... don’t make me feel like an idiot! I was also asked if I even knew how much change to expect back. I mean, it’s right there in front of the person. Count it. If there’s change, let me know how much and if I’m short I’ll go to the car and get more. Also it’s 40 degrees outside.

I have been a customer for over 10 years and plan to move my funds to wells Fargo due to consistent lack of customer service. Today Angela at the front desk was rude for the very last time. Hire better customer service focused staff asap.
