    I cannot speak highly enough of the Credit Union of Georgia, currently living in Texas and still using them for a lot of my personal banking needs. If that doesn't convey my trust in the Credit Union of Georgia and all of their wonderful employees I don't know what does. No matter where I end up living, I will always be a customer!

    One bad egg to spoil them all. Branch manager David gave me the worst customer service experience I have ever had in a financial establishment. The rest of the staff almost as bad. The tellers at the counter try to turn you away from speaking to anyone in the office. Any other bank and you can walk directly to a counter and sign in to speak with someone without any questions. This place is all about making its profits off its customers, they could at least pretend to care but it's the least of their concern. Closed my account years ago but it still steams me up when I think about my experiences here. Hate CUofGA, I feel sorry for anyone who banks with them. This is really at the bottom of the barrel compared any other options in the surrounding areas. Take your money elsewhere folks.

    I left another review about the terrible experience I've had with them, now over two years later... I'm still having issues with them... you are not treated as a member, just a number, larger fees than regular banks, common small things we take advantage of with our big name banks... they don't even offer. And oh my gosh, lord help you if you have GAP coverage with them... one my friends has been waiting 2 months for them to cover the part insurance doesnt... even though her loan is with them, and they know the car is totaled, they are still making her make payments!!! Do... what?? Skip this crazy place.. plenty decent credit unions to try... skip them.

    The employees are great, I just wish the tech was better. The ATM still uses envelope deposits(pre-2005) and it takes days for e-payments to process. It’s not the employees fault that their tech is so outdated, they are doing the best they can with what they have!

    I have been banking with this bank for years. And recently i needed to get copies of checks that i have deposit. It wont show image on online banking. So i stop by to see if i can get copies of check i deposit in the period of last 3 months. And apparently it will cost me $25 per hour. Cause they have to research my deposits. And since its for 3 months i am looking at 2-3 hours of labor. This ridicules. I mean i guess they dont give flying about customers. But $50-75 for copies of my deposits. This is beyond words. And this is Credit Union.

    We met with Mandi Williams (I think her title is assistant branch manager) on June 10th to refinance my car. She called me the first of the next week letting me know our paperwork was ready to be signed. I left her a message Thursday and Friday of that week. No response. I left another message the following Friday. Still no response. I called the following week, explained what was going on and left a message for the branch manager. Still no response. I wasted a lot of time getting everything together to refinance. I guess they don't need our business.

    The absolute slowest transactions in the history of slow, stale, banking. There are too many customer alienating processes that ascorbate the already miserable wait times. Please tell me what all the typing is about? Why does withdrawing money take 700 key strokes? It's like a Saturday night live spoof! On my last visit 2 of 3 tellers had signs on their kiosks asking for patience while they train... Nope, I don't have time for your misappropriated on the job training. I won't go to a monster mega bank but I will find another credit union that appreciates their good customers and their customers time!

    SMS, My wife and I were given the utmost customer service imaginable. From the teller at the Drivr- thru to a managers decision to go beyond and help us with our banking concerns. Always a pleasure to enter this facility. Smiling faces and sincere cooperation from staff is always a constant here. Thanks again😊

    I like this bank. 1. It's very close to my house. 2. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They also know me by name which is funny! 3. If they make a mistake they correct it. I do a lot of banking transfers and at times they can get confusing. One time I asked to put a check into an account and it was the wrong account. I caught it as they handed me the receipt (which is my responsibility ) and before I left the branch they caught it and corrected it. The only thing that I would change is the drive thru. I wish they wouldn't only limit their drive thru for Cu of GA accounts only. I wish I could use the drive thru for shared branching as well. Other than that. They are cool!

    Mandi (the Assistant Branch Manager) was supposed to contact me about qualifying for a mortgage, but after about a month of phone tag I decided to take my business to my mom's bank instead. I figured they knew I would pay the mortgage off since they saw that my mom paid her mortgage off with them. I was right! Go to Wells Fargo for your mortgages folks!
