I was intimidated by the whole idea of refinancing (due to misinformation from family/friends), so working with Pam and Amanda was seamless and much easier than expected. Highly recommend Charley Perry and The Mortgage Firm. They made the typically tedious construction loan process effortless for us. They are extremely knowledgeable and worked so hard to get our loan closed on time. They also kept us up to date on what was happening each step of the way. In July 2020, in response to the Covid crisis the housing market begins booming with all time low interest rates. My husband and I, unaware of just how crazy things would get, casually begin the process of pre qualifying for a home. We quickly snagged a desirable lot and begin a very long eight months of building our dream house. I’ve bought homes, built homes and sold homes before but trying to accomplish these tasks during the middle of an national crisis and an election year, was more of a challenge then I ever want to take on again. The one constant source of support, quick replies, understanding and compassion was Charley Perry and her team. Meredith was a god send through the underwriting process. I felt like I was her only client even though the firm was busier then ever. I’m an extremely anxious, quick tempered sailors daughter and Charley went above and beyond to talk me off of very high ledges. I would recommend her team to anyone who wants to buy a house with the best possible rates and least possible stress. I rarely recommend or review businesses because these days I’m far more often met with dissatisfaction than I am impressed, but Charley and her team deserved the recognition.

Charley and her team were awesome. They made my dream come true of owning a home. Another mortgage company calls to tell me one week from closing that he couldn’t get me the money AND I needed to find a cheaper house (I even had a pre-approval letter stating I was approved for a home of at least $205,000). Charley and her team took over and got the job done in 3 weeks.

Pam at The Mortgage Firm was extremely helpful during the refi process. She was very responsive and explained everything we needed clearly, making the process run smoothly. She worked diligently to keep our closing organized and on time and kept us informed throughout the process.
