I have used Suburban Mortgage twice in the past 4 years to buy to homes. The first experience went about as expected but nothing exceptional or noteworthy. The second mortgage was a completely different story. Much like one of the other negative reviews on Yelp we missed the original closing date due to an over-aggressive estimate by the loan offer on the time required to close. Our loan officer estimated we could be done in 3 weeks but in reality it took 8. Granted we had a complex situation we were dealing with but a straight up rookie move on the part of the loan officer not affording any time to handle the complex loan. So we found another house and begrudgingly decided to stay with Suburban since we were already pot committed in terms of time investment. In retrospect I wish we had changed companies as closing was a nightmare. Between the inept title company and Suburban's complete lack of organization we ended up signing with a mobile notary on a Sunday afternoon but nobody had taken the time to go over the documentation package and brief us on what we signing. Since this is not my first rodeo I was able to catch errors and omissions in the documentation and when I reached out to our loan officer she pretty much blew me off and I was told I can either sign or we will lose this house too. Caveat Emptor

So easy to work with and efficient! Staff is friendly and keeps you up to date and informed through the process. I definitely recommend Suburban Mortgage!
