Stony Brook's SBDC Ronni Rosen was key in helping me get my manufacturing consulting business off the ground. The Business Roundtable she organized and hosted was a great way to develop my network with other fledgling business owners, get advice and encouragement.

The Stony Brook Small Business Development Center (SBDC)should be on the registry for best places to learn critical information that is essential for your small business to succeed and thrive. I have attended several of their educational webinars and have always left the call with the knowledge that I gained a new understanding of the topic. I strongly encourage you to get involved with the SBDC if you want to grow your business or if you are looking to catch up on a topic. Sadly, I was only able to give them 5-Stars, however, I would argue that 6 or 7 stars would be more appropriate.

Stony Brook SBDC office is the best resource in Suffolk county for any business owner. I credit them for helping me with every aspect of my own start up company, which has now received funding from federal government and many other state resources. In particular, I would like to thank Bob Harrison for his tremendous help and advise. I cannot say enough in appreciation of their director Bernie Ryba who has been a visionary and a leader. Martha is excellent in what she does and it has been a pleasure interacting with her.

My experience with Ronni Rosen and other staff members at the SBDC has been invaluable. I have used many of the services available at the SBDC to open my successful business. Monthly meetings with the roundtable group have provided many opportunities for peer support and growth for me. The workshops are educational, speakers are professionals who also support business growth.

Not only have I been mentored by the Advisors at SBDC, I've also attended their informative workshops, Women's Empowerment events, and had the opportunity to present an educational marketing workshop. But the best value has been being a participant in the Business Solutions Roundtable for the past few years. This is a monthly session where business owners and entrepreneurs create trusting relationships. This group has not only helped me grow my business but I've garnered many referrals from it. Because of the ongoing sage advice and ideas of my peers, I've been able to overcome the obstacles that faced me while I went through growing pains. I'm so grateful for this group and to Ronni Rosen who runs the Roundtable.

The SBDC is a wonderful resource for everyone thinking of, or starting a business. Their expertise is invaluable. They are all helpful and kind. The Roundtable is a wonderful resource as well. Meet with other business owners for information, camaraderie, and suggestions. Five stars is not really adequate for all that they do!

The SBDC digital marketing workshop was very insightful and has helped us learn how to effectively market our business! Awesome session and I highly recommend theses sessions for anyone willing to learn!

I have been struggling with social media due to all of the platforms and which ones to use. Henry Bramwell did a fantastic job breaking each one down so I can follow a system that will work for me. Thank you! I completely forgot about Nextdoor and this will be a smart avenue to take for I provide on-site organizing solutions. I am excited about social media where I typically crawl under a rock. Now I have a solution.
