Requested payoff and sent a check for the full amount to Statebridge Company LLC. They cashed the check, but refuse to apply the funds to the account--closing out the loan. In the meantime, I'm receving collection calls--daily, sometimes several times a day, for money they are holding hostage. When I speak to the staff, they speak to me as if I've done something wrong. I get it, they have no control over the matter, and can do nothing to help. I have filed complaints with the MI Dept. of Financial and Insurance services, Attorney General's office as well as the Bureau for Consumer Financial Protection in hopes that this matter can be resolved ASAP. They only receive one start b/c you cannot post w/out selecting at least one star.

If your loan got sold to this place, I’m sorry!!! Their customer service is the worst ever. When you call in their phone system is terrible and will hang up on you. It may take a week to get a voice, then hope they don’t transfer you, because that won’t go through. They Have a master plan to screw you the best way they can to fatten their pocket books. I had to pay my attorney to fix what there attorney did wrong just so I could close on my house on time,after they sold my loan a month before closing that cost $$ My advice is to run from them as far as possible. If anyone deserved no stars or negative stars it’s this place. Run Forest Run

If there was a way to give zero stars I would, every month the first week of every month is fighting with these people because they say they didn't get my payment (I wired it to them) or the balances are off, or they don't calculate the payoff correctly. Even after I paid off my mortgage with a pay off THEY gave me, they called me one week later to tell me I still owed them $600. This place should be shut down by the CFPB.

My mom has been trying to get in contact with these people she has been emailing them calling them and when she called today someone finally picked up and it was a man and he was so rude to her and everything didn’t even try to help. They really need to learn good customer service because this is ridiculous😡😡. Don’t make no sense and they wonder why people don’t like their company 😒😒

Recently I was written to by this company, claiming to be the new mortgage servicer on my property. I've never heard of them, nor do they have the correct amount that I owe on my property to my bank, nor do I believe they legally have my properties debt in their possession. I wrote to their customer service department for clarification, to which i've received static and demands for additional documentation and immediate payment. This is either a scam or, more then likely, a horribly run financial company which doesn't confirm they actually 'own' a property.

I can't believe that this company is allowed to conduct business this way. Ever since my mortgage was sold to them, it's been a nightmare. Examples; they didn't pay my flood insurance so it was cancelled, they lost my payment, they posted a payment twice, they kept my insurance claim money so I'm not able to take care of the damages, it just goes on and on. How can this company be held accountable for all their wrong doing??? What they are doing cannot be legal.

This is literally the worst company that we've ever had to deal with in our entire life. How do you go from having a $1500 surplus in escrow to a $1360 shortfall the very next year. For a supervisor to say you being assessed forced insurance but when you call the insurance department they don't see it on their end. Gregory Reed is the worst supervisor and has no clue on what's going on. Asked to speak to somebody in upper management and was told I must email a general mailbox asking for senior management. We have place formal complaints with Freddie Mac, ombudsmen office and the CFPB. Their company policy states once question is asked through their email portal they have 30 days to respond. They do not even follow their own protocols because I still have outstanding questions that are over a month old. Followed up with Mr. Reed only to be told that they never received by initial email. What is the point of sending an email if they lose it. This is the most unprofessional company ever and I wish the federal government would step in and shut them down completely!

I had a wonder experience dealing with Marcus Denton at Statebridge Company. In all my years in business, It is not very often that I have dealt with anyone so professional, courteous, and knowledgeable as Mr. Denton. I have called Statebridge several times regarding my loan and have spoken to numerous people . I recently had an issue where I needed help and Mr. Denton went above and beyond to assure that I was taken care of and took care of the problem quickly. All employees of Statebridge would benefit to learn from Mr. Denton on customer service and the willingness do efficiently help customers. In this day in time, it is hard to find an employee who is this dedicated to his job, It is evident that Mr. Denton loves what he does and that he cares about the satisfaction of his customers. There is not a company around that would not benefit in having Mr. Denton on their payroll. Mr. Denton is an asset to Statebridge company!!!! M. Garner

My mortgage was transferred to statebridg from chase. Unfortunately right as I was selling my home. My home is now in escrow and neither me or the escrow officer can get anybody on the phone. I was awarded the home in a divorce and need a quit claim processed during the closing.....omg this company sucks.....sat on hold over an hour 3 times left messages 3 times no call backs yet

Chase sold mine too.. I was told everything is exactly like Chase however you can't pay online w/o paying $5... And it's $15 to make a payment over the phone and no they don't have an App either... Seriously ... This is a nickel and dime company. I'd rather refinance and pay another 4K in closing costs vs paying these dumb fee's... Oh and I haven't received a bill yet either... Only a welcome letter... Not happy with this change!!
